| Since its birth, the documentary,as a high grade film form, has taken"showing the truth" as its core task:selecting real materials, recording real people and events, and arousing public thinking. This is an important premise and foundation that cannot be ignored in the whole creation process of documentary, such as preliminary research,mid-stage shooting and post-editing.However,with the intervention of the camera and the photographer to the shooting scene and the subject’s private psychological field, the authenticity of the documentary has been challenged.Throughout the history of documentary development, there are the intervention concept of "film eye school" by wiltoff, the participative observation intervention by flaherty, the intervention debate between "real film" and "direct film",and the five different field states embodied in the microscopic field theory of communication. The exploration of different intervention methods based on the real background color is rampant. The main problem to be discussed in this paper is to select a reasonable and appropriate intervention method to reach the maximum range acceptable to the recording subject,to promote its better display of its true self, and then to explain and highlight the documentary theme more comprehensively. This paper firstly compares and sorts out the different intervention methods presented in the theories of "direct film","real film" and communication field, and summarizes the guiding theories needed for the shooting of the documentary "winning or losing at the starting line".Secondly,it elaborates the concrete practice of the theory obtained in the actual shooting process of the documentary. Finally, the whole creation process is reviewed and reflected. In this way,we will expound the different ways to intervene in the process of seeking the authenticity of the documentary. |
