| Museum culture is a representation of cultural records and history in different regions,whose major functions and value are reflected in research,collection,education,etc.Every cultural relic in the museum carries different characteristics,cultural symbols and aesthetic value of an era.As the cultural center of China,and the starting point of the Silk Road,Xi’an is known as the convergence of many cultural and historical relics.Therefore,"Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals",a cultural relic of Shaanxi Historical Museum,is adopted as the major research object,and the culture behind the cultural relic is revived in the form of picture books so that audiences can experience the fun and cultural significance of traditional elements.The Tang culture is glorious in Chinese history.This research is based on the cultural aesthetics of the Tang dynasty to examine the cultural values and shaping characteristics of "Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals".The diary picture book,an innovational demonstration method of the new era,is employed as the carrier to cater to the visual cultural experience of modern people,extract visual expression and characteristics from the "Golden Bowl",decode the connotation of the traditional culture behind the Tang culture,and endow it with brand-new visual experience to form new cultural experience and deliver cultural characteristics of the Tang dynasty.To extract the connotation from the traditional culture and reconstruct the new cultural values is a favorable integration between the traditional culture and modern expression.Such representation can,on the one hand,improve people’s perception and resonance of the traditional culture,and deliver the traditional culture to modern audiences through modern expressions to satisfy their spiritual aesthetic needs and inherit the Chinese culture.On the other hand,to apply the traditional culture to modern visual expression can improve the culture input,and address the lack of creativity and fun facing the current form of traditional culture.In this paper,the traditional elements are reflected through the interesting modern expression form of diary picture books,which can not only meet the demand of culture input,but also accommodate to the era trends and transmit culture via new ways.The culture behind "Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals" under the social and cultural background of the Tang dynasty is analyzed using research methods,such as field survey,literature research and contrast analysis,and from the perspective of history,sociology and art.Through systematic analysis and research,the cultural and aesthetic value of the cultural relic is examined to provide the expression carrier,and suitable elements for expression of shape,way of expression and color use for the picture book creation.The form of traditional picture books is changed,as a result of the collision between traditional elements and modern thinking.To start with,this paper takes a look at the culture of the Tang dynasty through the cultural relic,"Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals",pointing out the correlation between the cultural relic and the culture of Silk Road,religion and wine.Following that,the aesthetic value of "Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals" is systematically analyzed,and integrated into the art practice.Next,the form characteristics of diary picture books are discussed and summarized to learn their themes,ways of communication,etc.Finally,the visual elements of "Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals" are applied to the author’s picture book creations.The value generated by the application of the such elements to diary picture books is systematically judged,classified and summarized.To sum up,this paper systematically analyzes the cultural relic,"Golden Bowl with Mandarin Duck and Lotus Petals",and endow it with new value through a new form so as to promote innovational development of traditional cultural elements. |
