Min Dialect is one of the seven dialects of Chinese,which mainly includes five sub-dialects: Minnan sub-dialects,Minbei sub-dialects,Mindong sub-dialects,Minzhong sub-dialects and Puxian sub-dialects.The academic research focuses on the sub dialects of southern and northern Fujian,and often ignores the academic value of the Min Dong.Fuzhou dialect,as a representative of the Min Dong,its systematic research is rare.The author thinks that it is of great academic value and practical significance to study the quantifiers of Fuzhou dialect from the new perspective of cognitive linguistics.The paper consists of four parts:The first part,Introduction.After reviewing the current situation of the study of quantifiers in Min dialect,it is found that there are few achievements in the cognitive study of quantifiers in Min dialect,and the scope of the study is no more than the study of dimensionality ratio and categorization,and the study mainly focuses on shallow analysis and case study,systematic analysis of dialect quantifiers from the cognitive point of view articles and works less.The cognitive study of quantifiers in Fuzhou dialect is more focused on the individual study of Quantifiers,and lack of holistic description.Therefore,based on the theory of cognitive linguistics,this paper selects 167 commonly used quantifiers in Fuzhou dialect by the methods of Comparative Study,Case Study and systematic study,introspection and investigation,discuss the collocation law between quantifier,Noun and verb.The second part is the cognitive analysis of Noun classifier collocation in Fuzhou dialect.This paper first introduces the mechanism of Chinese quantifiers from the diachronic perspective,and holds that the analogy of syntactic spaces and the promotion of cognitive mechanism of metonymy and metaphor are the driving forces for the generation of Chinese quantifiers.Among them,the impetus of cognitive mechanism is the deeper reason.Secondly,from the perspective of cognitive mechanism of metaphor and Metonymy,this paper makes a systematic exposition of the generating process of the substantive classifier,the shape classifier and the structural classifier in Fuzhou dialect.The third part is the cognitive analysis of the verb-classifier collocation in Fuzhou dialect.According to the theory of "bounded" and "unbounded",it is found that the quantity and immeasurable of verbs are related to their boundedness,based on the cognitive mechanism of metaphor and Metonymy,this paper explains the generating process of object-type and action-type momentum words in Fuzhou dialect.The fourth part,the Fuzhou Dialect Universal quantifier and the category research.First of all,according to the prototype category theory,the process of categorization is by no means groundless.What connects these members is the commonness among these objective things.The more commonness there is,the sooner it appears,the closer it is to the central category;The less commonness there is,the later it appears,over the edge.The intrinsic motivation to promote categorization is that people's four cognitive models are at work.Secondly,it studies the universal quantifiers "Zhi","Ba","Li","Zhang" and "Tiao" in Fuzhou dialect by means of prototype theory,from this,we can explore the cognitive world of Fuzhou Ancestors and have a clearer understanding of the basis of the category formed by the universal quantifiers in Fuzhou dialect.
