The Artistic Features And Performance Techniques Of Chu Wanghua's "Jasmine Fantasia"

The Jasmine Fantasy is a difficult piece to perform,with a variety of techniques,different timbres,and a combination of Western and Chinese arrangements,all seamlessly combined together.This work is one of the works that I came across during my graduate studies,and it was also one of the pieces that I performed in my graduation concert,so I have some practical experience and experience in both performance techniques and stylistic characteristics.The "Jasmine Fantasy" reflects the characteristics of Chinese folk music by using the arrangement method of western countries,which not only enriches the artistic expression of Chinese folk music,but also expands the scope of national characteristics and makes Chinese traditional music widely spread.In this paper,we firstly discuss the origin and background of the piece;then we discuss the musical characteristics of Jasmine Fantasy in terms of melodic features and harmonic patterns;finally,we elaborate on the accurate use of the piece,the notes of performance and the mastery of the difficult rhythms in combination with our own study experience.
