A Study Of The Contemporary Value Of Traditional Metal Handicrafts

In the current social background,traditional crafts have a wider significance,not only a kind of craft,but also a cultural symbol and export means of a nation and a region.In the era of rapid development of science and technology,Heqing’s traditional metal handicraft industry has undergone great changes in every link from production to market.With the inheritance of national skills,its core values are also changing.Today,traditional handicraft carries a wider range of contemporary values,including historical value,aesthetic value and industrial research value.Based on the historical,regional and social conditions of the development of traditional metal handicraft industry in Xinhua Village,Heqing,Dali,this paper systematically introduces and analyzes the development of silver handicraft industry in Xinhua Village in recent years,combining with the origin of silver handicraft industry in Xinhua Village,the technological process,inheritance mode and business model of silver handicraft industry.Based on the data obtained from many field surveys,this paper deeply discusses the participation of various groups in the development of metal craft industry in Xinhua Village,as well as its influence on all aspects of metal handicraft industry,and then summarizes its development experience.Finally,through the analysis of the current development trend,this paper predicts the possible degradation and assimilation of Heqing traditional metal handicraft in the future,and puts forward some measures such as maintaining innovation,adhering to the organic communication with colleges and universities,so as to ensure the vitality of the development of traditional handicraft in the contemporary era.
