The images of flying apsaras in Dunhuang are rich and have a long history,which contains rich ethnic painting styles and aesthetic thoughts.It is the reference to create the digital image of flying sky.Due to the influence of time and environment,the material heritage will "disappear".Protect with digital animation: Apsaras are regenerated in the digital world.This paper discusses the protection of cultural heritage animation creation from the perspectives of animation nationalization,diversification of forms and dissemination,combined with the innovation and development prospect of animation.The paper is divided into three parts:Part Ⅰ: Basic theoretical research.Consult "Dunhuang Fresco Apsaras Art","Dunhuang Apsaras as the theme of animation" related literature,pictures,videos and other materials.Summarize "Dunhuang flying apsaras culture spirit","Modeling characteristics","Artistic aesthetics",and "The national characteristics"," Artistic style" of flying apsaras theme animation.The purpose is to extract the characteristic elements of flying images and lay a foundation for animation design.Part Ⅱ: Study on the related animation works of flying apsaras theme.Taking cultural heritage digitalization--animation protection and creation as the research direction,this paper chooses Dunhuang Apsaras themed animation works,compares and analyzes animations of different periods,media and forms,and explores the similarities of apsaras images in animation.Study the protection advantage of Dunhuang flying apsaras animation creation to flying apsaras culture and the market value of art from the market response.Part Ⅲ: Practicing creative design applications.Relying on the research results of the first two parts,3D animation design and creation are carried out,and the animation creation process is recorded and summarized.From the creative innovation,the solution to the problems encountered,digital software application advantages of several aspects,the animation creation practice is summarized and self-evaluation.
