Maurice Ravel(1875-1937)was a famous French composer,and he was one of the most outstanding representatives of impressionist composers.Ravel has two violin sonatas,the first is the early romantic style of single movement works,and "violin Sonata in G major" written in 1923-1927 is Ravel’s late works,in this period,Ravel gave up the ideal of Impressionism,back to a more pure French music tradition,formed the "French neoclassical music",bold introduction of jazz music factors,and the biggest characteristic of this work is The addition of blues music elements,injecting new vitality into following the classical form and strict artistic rules,is worthy of further study and analysis.Ravel’s musical characteristics and writing style are very distinct,but there is little research on his violin sonatas.This paper will use the research method of combining theory and practice performance to study and analyze the performance techniques,musical characteristics,music style,sound structure and other aspects,especially the innovative blues music elements in the music.
