A Practical Study Of Social Work Intervention In Urban Community Cultural Pension From The Perspective Of Active Aging

At present,China's aging population has entered the stage of rapid development,which has brought great challenges to China's pension services."Where to place our old age" is an unavoidable problem for everyone,and we need to actively face the arrival of aging.At the same time,with the continuous development of economy and society,the living standard of the elderly in urban communities has been continuously improved,and their standards for pension life are also higher.While their material needs have been met,they pay more attention to their spiritual needs.As a high-level old-age care method,cultural old-age care can help the elderly establish healthy and positive values for the elderly,meet their needs for old-age care to a greater extent,and improve their happiness in their later years,which plays an important role in promoting the development of the cause of aging population in China.As a professional helping method,social work has unique advantages in the aspect of intervening in the urban community cultural old-age service.Through carrying out a variety of cultural activities for the elderly,provide services,enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly,and then play an external role in promoting the development of cultural pension.Therefore,from the perspective of active aging,this paper explores how social work can effectively intervene in urban community cultural pension,solve the difficulties and problems existing in community cultural pension,so as to promote the development of community cultural pension and lay a foundation for promoting active aging.In this paper,researchers were selected as social workers once stationed in D community of Shizuishan City to conduct a case study.Based on the theory of active aging as the research framework,methods such as interview method and participation observation method were used to analyze the status quo and the current difficulties faced by the community cultural pension.To explore the feasible path of social workers to promote active aging by intervening in urban community culture for the aged.The study found that although cultural pension has received great attention and development in recent years,there are still single service content,lack of service subjects,insufficient infrastructure,insufficient attention to spiritual and cultural needs,lack of funds and other difficulties.From the perspective of the function of cultural endowment for active aging,the existing cultural endowment for the elderly is insufficient in physical and mental care,community participation channels are narrow,community cultural endowment for the elderly lacks the necessary social security mechanism.The professional characteristics of social work determine its positive role in cultural pension.Social work can start from the three levels of health,participation and security,integrate and use the three professional methods of social work in practice,and carry out professional services according to the existing resources of the community and the needs of the elderly.Based on the theory of active aging,social work involvement in urban community pension can be optimized from four aspects: expanding services,promoting physical and mental health;Integrate resources and promote residents' participation;Strengthen professional construction,improve service quality;Multi-party linkage provides institutional guarantee to intervene in community cultural pension,promotes the sustainable development of urban community cultural pension,and then promotes the realization of active aging.
