| During the New China period,under Chairman Mao's call for "develop sports and enhance people's physique" and the direction of "good health,good study and good work," the majorities of young people took an active part in physical exercise.At the same time,after the conference on secondary education,the school administrative leaders began to attach importance to health education,and set up the educational thought of comprehensive development,change the situation of independent sports work by the sports and cultural groups,strengthen the cooperation of relevant departments,and actively carry out a series of work of "labor and defence system "(hereinafter referred to as "labor and health system ").The "labor and defence system" is the first sports system implemented in New China and is the foundation of Chinese school sports and mass sports.It's a kind of sports system with scientific and patriotic thought,which can help the state cultivate healthy,brave and patriotic youth who can take on labor production and defend the motherland.The trail implementation of "standards of physical exercise",started in Beijing in 1951,its extension to Shanghai,Tianjin and Wuhan and other regions in 1952,and in 1953 the "labor and defence system" preparatory level began to prevail throughout the country.In 1954,the Central Committee officially promulgated the Provisional Regulations on the System of Ready Labor and Defense Sports,which gave a powerful impetus to the development of the preparatory level of the " labor and defence system",and the State Council officially approved the Regulations and Standards on the System of Labor and Defense Sports in 1958.So far,all over the country set off a "labor and defence system" of physical exercise upsurge.Hunan Province began in 1953 in Changsha,Xiangtan,Changde,Hengyang four cities in seven schools to try out "physical exercise standards." Later,due to the deterioration of Sino-Soviet relations and the three-year natural disaster in New China,the shortage of grain and by-products,the mass sports,school sports mostly decreased or even stopped,and the work of "labor and defence system" was gradually lost.In 1964,the State Council officially abolished the "labor and defence system" renamed it the" national standard of physical exercise," and the work of the "labor and defence system" in Hunan Province accordingly stopped.Although the "labor and defence system" was suspended because of various factors,it had a profound influence on the development of sports in our country at that time,and affecting the sports concept,physical quality and physical health of that generation.However,at the present time,when the material level and the quality of life are improving,the physical quality of teenagers drops due to the lack of sports consciousness and the reduction of sports activities.Therefore,this thesis will analyze and expound the development of "labor and defence system"in Hunan secondary schools in the period of New China,and mainly sorting out and commenting on the measures,characteristics,existing problems and effects it has taken,and combining with the current"National Standards for the Physical Health of Students" system,providing good enlightenment for them.This thesis uses the methods of literature review,historical research,logical analysis and induction to analyze the "labor and defence system" implemented by Hunan secondary schools in the early period of new China,so as to summarize the experience and provide enlightenment and reference for the current system of students' physical health standards in our country.1.The concept first,foil a positive social atmosphere;2.Deepening and enriching the contents of physical health standards;3.Continuously improve students' attention to physical testing and optimize testing time;4.Standardize the physical examination process to ensure the authenticity of the data. |
