Since 1999,the "New Concept Composition Competition"(hereinafter referred to as New Concept)initiated and hosted by Meng Ya and several universities across the country has been held for 23 sessions.This competition has contributed to the elimination of the shortcomings of Chinese education to complement and negotiate with institutional education,and has also introduced a group of young creators with literary talents to the literary world.More importantly,it provides a platform for free and true expressions for teenagers who love literature.This research uses the New Concept Composition Competition as a window,and connects the literature lovers who are keen on reading and writing as the research objects(including the finalists,failed people and bystanders).Main problems to be explored are: How family literary education and school education life affect individual literary practice?What is the literary practice of literary youths(including daily literary activities and competition action),and how do they understand their literary practice experience? Does the continuous literary life of adolescence participate in the long-term growth context?By collecting and sorting out relevant textual materials of the New Concept Compositon Competiton,and conducting semi-structured interviews with 26 specific research objects identified with the help of the Internet platform,this research presents and analyzes the family and school education reality of young literary youths at the high school education stage using the research method of narrative inquiry.School life and literary life,the practice and significance of their new concept contests,and the literary situation in life after the college entrance examination.The study found that literary youths' literary interests and practice at the stage of high school education are entangled with their real life at home and school.The family literary education influenced by education and social cultural conditions enables literary youths to experience the enrichment or impoverishment of literary support and communication,and the conflict between literary ideals and parents' educational expectations.The school education life triggered the literary youth's awareness of the environment and self and daily literary practice,laying the emotional tone of repressive pain or freedom and happiness.The literary youth actively constructed their own literary subjectivity through teacher-student interaction and student interaction,and their practice and pursuit of the subject of literature was deepened by specific educational activities of disciplines and composition writing in examinations.Facing their own situation,literary youths actively chose to settle,explore,and shape themselves by means of literary reading and writing.New Concept Composition Competition practice of literary youths,as an independent literary and cultural action,had rich growth value and educational significance for them.On the one hand,the action choices of literary youths condensed their thinking on self,educational situation and educational path.Their competition strategy in the face of literary experiment rules also reflected and strengthened their own thinking and action mode.On the other hand,the specific participation experience after entering the semi-finals made the young literary youths perceive the difference between themselves and others,and also enabled them to reap an escape-style carnival.In addition,the results of the competition and the competition itself affected the self-expression and education of literary youths,the flow of self-belief,and their pursuit of literary dreams.After the college entrance examination,literature has gradually faded in the lives of many iterary youths.Some people no longer adhere to the literary lifestyle due to professional and professional relations and changes in the media of the times,or due to the new burdens and pursuits of life,they no longer cherish literary beliefs and dreams.However,there are still people who still adhere to the literary dream,and for the love of literature,through the choice of education and career,they have moved on to the road of literature and writing.
