This paper, standing at the literature creation angle, attempts to analysis the formation and development process of the 80s' writers. Aiming at picturing the growing steps of the 80s' -writer-group, the paper is organized along the line that begins from drawbacks of the Old Concept Composition, represented by the university entrance examination, to the sprout of New Concept Composition and flourish of the 80s' literature writers, till the gradual development of 80s' writers, leading to the impact of the mainstream of literature world.The main text consists of four parts. The first part discusses the drawbacks of the Old Concept Competition which is actually departing from literature in education and losing the ability to depict the life and feeling of 80s' students. The second part focuses on the New Concept Competition, of which the slogan 'New Idea, New Expression, Real Feeling' reveals the core of literature. Although there are distinct arguments about the meaning of literature among those 80s' writers, they are united in fighting against the Old Concept Competition and pursuing the 'New Idea, New Expression, Real Feeling' . For one thing, the third part construes the group characteristic of the 80s' writers in the following four aspects: the synthesis of the production and writers' own lives, the concentrated outpouring of internal emotions, the showing off skills in the language, and the increasing leading powers of Internet and booksellers in the marketing mode; for another, this part continues to discuss the 80s' literature' s new traits such as the instability of 80s' writers as a group, the pressure from culture factor on literature factor, slump in the fantasy literature mud, the flood of negative emotions, etc. The final part makes analysis of Han Bai Dispute and points out the essential of this dispute as the conflict between the 80s' writers and the mainstream of the literature world. It is not only a struggle of Internet literature against traditional paper literature, but also a failure of talk between non-mainstream literature and mainstream literature, reflecting the reality that these two streams confront each other.
