In order to help students improve their overall reading level and reading ability and promote their interest in reading, teachers need to adopt an effective teaching strategy to make students generate a motivation conducive to reading,so as to form the orientation of "meaningful" reading learning for junior high school students. The purpose of this paper is to help teachers make use of Ausubel's "Meaningful Reception Learning Theory" to improve the reading teaching strategies of junior high school students. In the process of teaching, teachers can attract students to learn effectively and form a stable, lasting and positive learning orientation for text reading through reasonable handling of teaching contents.Firstly, this paper analyzes the feasibility and necessity of carrying out the concept of meaningful learning in junior high school students' reading teaching. The logical meaning of reading materials is the basis for carrying out meaningful learning theory, and the connection and expansion between inside and outside class in teaching is the necessary way to realize meaningful learning theory. Then, the paper discusses the organization principles of meaningful learning strategies.Gradual differentiation and comprehensive mastery are two basic principles in line with the theory and the practice of junior high school students' reading learning. The third chapter of the thesis discusses an important teaching link, that is,the importance and basic methods of stimulating junior high school students' reading motivation by teachers. The fourth chapter of this paper discusses three overall strategies of meaningful learning theory in the teaching of junior high school students. The last chapter of this paper reflects on the strategies of using meaningful learning theory to guide junior high school students' reading learning.Since the theory depends on students' initiative and participation to some extent, the effect cannot be completely grasped objectively. It is necessary to conduct experiments on its utility in certain ways,so as to form a judgment on the utility of the theory.Secondly,Ausubel's theory only pays attention to students' learning in class and teachers' teaching in class. In the process of reading teaching, teachers should teach students reading learning strategies and master specific reading learning methods. In addition, the theory focuses on the teaching of students receiving learning, and pays little attention to independent learning and inquiry-based learning. Therefore, teachers need to pay attention to students' independent learning and inquiry-based learning supplement in teaching to avoid the shortcomings of the theory.
