In the new period, our education idea is quality education. Quality education, as a kind of talent training mode, is one of focus and hot spots which are concerned by current education sector. At the beginning of21century, we implemented a new round of basic education curriculum reform in our country which also requires education to achieve the transition from exam-oriented education to quality education, while the foothold of quality education in classroom teaching is meaningful learning. To make a good job of the meaningful learning is one of the important measures which improve students’basic qualities.The author studies the meaningful learning systematically through politics teaching of senior middle school. The paper takes Marx’s theory of human’s comprehensive development as guidance, borrows ideas from the theories of Ausubel and Rogers’ meaningful learning and constructivism learning theory, redefining the meaning and general characteristics of meaningful learning. On this basis, aiming at the characteristics of politics teaching of senior middle school, the paper summarizes the meaning and characteristics of its meaningful learning specifically, and puts forward its important significance demonstratively. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the author also directly investigates the actuality of the meaningful learning of the present politics teaching of senior middle school, through the comprehensive analysis, puts forward the constructive opinions to improve the meaningful learning of the present politics teaching of senior middle school.
