Based on the fieldwork of Li village in Guizhou Province,this paper presents a new media experience of "paradise" village based on Anthropological theory of cultural communication and Communication theory of “Media are extensions of man”and “Technological Empowerment”.Under the influence of new media,the Dong rural society has no longer land of idyllic beauty,and begins to show the appearance of convergence with modern society.The autonomy system of traditional places has been replaced by the modern national governance system and fully incorporated into the modern country;the self-sufficient lifestyle is broken by the modern industrial chain,and the desire for consumption is stimulated;the ethnic culture with concentrated soul and mass culture coexists and the ideas are increasingly open;leisure life has evolved from agricultural leisure to psychological adjustment,and leisure mode is becoming more and more diversified;new media has become a new medium of interpersonal communication,and the communication mode presents new characteristics.However,the traditional society has not been eroded.As an extension of human beings,new media promotes the re accumulation of hollow villages.The traditional social order and modern order are integrated and coexist harmoniously,which jointly promote the development of rural society.Under the background of urban-rural differentiation,new media is not only an "invisible" bridge between urban and rural areas,narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas,but also a "reassuring agent" for hollowed out villages,promoting the unity of body and mind,and providing solutions for the development of ethnic areas,rural revitalization,and cultural heritage.Through the research,it is found that the new media as a culture isn't only a popular culture in the context of globalization,but also a global local culture.In the process of development,it is changing from "outsiders" to "localization".New media culture enters the mountain village society,and brings the village into a strange and enchanting "different culture" world without borders.But the mountain village culture is not submerged in the ocean of "different culture".Because of the cultural consciousness--the village society,with the help of the convenient advantages of new media technology and culture,photographes,produces and spreads the local ethnic culture,not only makes the modern flow increasingly alienated and hollow village society have the "far-reaching" kinship and close "face view",but also because of the cultural consciousness for the villagers' cultural confidence,their culture spreads to the vast "different culture" world.While entering the "other" world,it also openeds a window for the external world to understand their own culture.The cultural re invention--the creative transformation of tradition begins.This case fully illustrates that,no matter what kind of low potential it is in,under the peaceful environment,mutual learning of civilization is always a two-way convection process.The new media "slaughtering" the world globalization itself is also a process of non homogeneity and diversification,showing the pattern of "Every beauty has its uniqueness,precious is to appreciate other forms of beauty with openness.If beauty represents itself with diversity and integrity,the world will be blessed with harmony but different".
