Biological science and technology activities refer to a kind of extracurricular practice course that takes biology scientific knowledge as the main carrier,fully develops the basic qualities of students as the goal,and takes the latest information and direct experience of students as the main content.It plays an important role in cultivating students' innovative consciousness and practical ability,and is an important way to implement science and technology education and quality education.The STEAM education that has emerged in recent years is a teaching strategy that integrates science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics and other multi-disciplinary knowledge as a system to cultivate compound talents.Its many advantages provide new ideas for the design of biological science and technology activities.Ideas and challenges.Keeping pace with the times,to promote the innovative design and effective development of high school biological science and technology activities,the author has concentrated on research,and on the basis of analyzing the value of integrating STEAM education into high school biological science and technology activities,through the investigation method to understand the general high school to carry out biological science and technology activities Based on the theory and survey results,a framework for high school biology technology activities in line with actual STEAM education has been constructed,and two localized high school biology technology activities have been designed,and corresponding results have been achieved in practice.The practical results show that the biological science and technology activities integrated with STEAM education are favored by students,and the implementation effect is good.On the one hand,students' interest in biological science and technology activities and learning in biology has increased significantly;on the other hand,students' abilities in scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,cooperative innovation,hands-on practice,expression and communication have all been improved to varying degrees.It shows that biological science and technology activities integrated with STEAM education are conducive to cultivating students' scientific literacy,humanistic literacy,and subject core literacy,and have certain guiding significance for the training of talents at the ordinary high school stage.
