A Study Of "Writing Mengqiu", A Literacy Textbook In The Late Qing Dynasty

The children's literacy enlightenment education is the basis of Chinese enlightenment and is also a hot topic in today's society.The ancient Chinese education originated very early,and all dynasties attached great importance to the compilation of literacy textbooks.These excellent literacy textbooks are not only the important carrier of the ancient children's literacy education,but also the historical witness of the succession of Chinese excellent traditional culture.In the late Qing Dynasty,Wang Yun's "Wen Zi Meng Qiu" was a Chinese character literacy textbook under the guidance of the theory of "Liu Shu".By analyzing the shape and structure of Chinese characters,it helped children to see meaning from form and read on the basis of understanding meaning,which could not only improve children's literacy efficiency,but also achieve the effect of learning by analogy.Based on the comprehensive combing of the ancient literacy textbooks,this paper first introduces the author,the background of the book,the writing style,the situation of the word collection,the edition and the educational thoughts contained in the book.Secondly,it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the centralized literacy textbook and the Chinese character literacy textbook through the comparative study of the "Wen Zi Meng Qiu" and "San Bai Qian".Then it analyzes the characteristics of the writing of "Wen Zi Meng Qiu" as a teaching material for literacy enlightenment in detail,and clarifies its value and limitations.Finally,this paper summarizes the literacy teaching methods embodied in the book,and analyzes its enlightenment to modern literacy education.It is of great practical significance for the compilation of modern children's literacy teaching materials and the development of literacy teaching to focus on the writing characteristics and literacy teaching methods of the textbook "Wen Zi Meng Qiu".
