Wang Yun,an outstanding expert in Chinese characters of the Qing Dynasty,paid much attention to enlightenment teaching,who had a book for children to learn characters which is named Wen Zi Meng Qiu.This book not only explains Wang Yun's literacy teaching idea but also introduces the content pictographic,self-explanatory,knowing and 2050 corresponding words he had researched.Literacy teaching as the first stage of the enlightenment teaching has a far-reaching impact on students.Therefore,as a researcher,one should not confined to the thesis writing and the theory researched,one should focus more on teaching practice.And this paper is to analyze the book Wen Zi Meng Qiu to explor the methods of teaching children to read characters and apply to the primary school literacy teaching.Firstly,the first chapter is divided into three sections.The first section mainly introduces Wang Yun's life and his educational thought.Wang Yun thought that "the student is a person,not a pig or a dog".This view is in line with the "people-oriented" education philosophy.The second section mainly introduces the writing characteristics of the text.The book is according to the order of the pictographic,self-explanatory,knowing and echoism orchestrated,and every part of the book has a list of seal character and regular script.The third section mainly introduces the practical value of the text.The value of the text not only reflected in the layout,choose words and of the interpretation of meanings,and to help on current literacy teaching.Secondly,the second chapter is mainly expounding the quo survey and analysis of the results about some school literacy teaching status.Through access to teachers and students getting the questionnaire,some problems are analyzed in the process of teaching.Teaching problems are divided into three aspects: one is the teacher have a misunderstanding about the teaching goal of literacy teaching;The other one is the insufficient teacher philology theory knowledge;The third is without a sure principle of teaching degrees.Finally,the third chapter mainly elaborates the text cover for enlightenment to the current literacy teaching.One is to have a thorough understanding of Chinese characters;The other one is the enlightenment to teaching methods;The third is having an enlightenment for classroom teaching.On the meaning of Chinese characters,one part is according to the views of Mr.Xu,another part is the understanding of Wang Jun.It is easy to understand,and providing an assistance to teachers' learning.it is easier to apply it to the classroom practice.
