Senior High School is an important period of individual moral development, which is greatly influenced by the surrounding environment. The youth of the post-zero generation grew up in various changes and shocks during the social transformation period, showing some popular characteristics. These characteristics will have an important influence on their moral psychology and moral behavior. In addition, the perceived social class and social support of adolescents also play an important role in their personal development as external environmental factors. The present study investigated the level of machiavellianism and moral detachment of 477 high school students(15-18 years old)by using the machiavellianism scale and moral detachment scale, the scale of perceived social support was used to explore the mediating role of perceived social support between machiavellianism and moral abdication, and the moderating role of social class was further investigated. The main results are as follows:1.High school students have higher machiavellianism as a whole and lower scores of moral abdication, and there is no significant gender difference between them; The level of machiavellianism of the students from rural areas was significantly higher than that of the students from urban areas, and the level of moral abdication was significantly lower than that of the students from urban areas.2.machiavellianism is positively correlated with moral shirking. The higher the level of individual machiavellianism, the more likely the behavior of moral shirking is Machiavellianism is negatively correlated with perceived social support level and parental class, moral abdication is negatively correlated with perceived social support level and parental class The perceived level of social support is positively correlated with the social class of parents, fathers and families.3.Perceived level of social support mediates between machiavellianism and moral abdication, and parental class mediates between machiavellianism and social support.Machiavellianism has a significant negative predictive effect on perceived social support for subjects with low parental class, while machiavellianism has no significant effect on perceived social support for subjects with high parental class. The results of this study show that machiavellianism not only directly influences moral reasoning, but also indirectly influences moral reasoning by understanding social support,in which the social class of parents also plays a role. The enlightenment to educational practice is that for the teenagers with higher level of machiavellianism, raising the level of support from teachers and class peer environment will have positive influence on their moral psychology and behavior, for the lower social strata of the family will have a more significant effect on the young.
