Since 2007,when the term "care" was first introduced in China,care services for people with disabilities have been incorporated into the cause of people with disabilities.Among them,Warm Home,which provides care services for people with intellectual,mental and severe physical disabilities,has played an important role in meeting the basic needs of people with disabilities and promoting the development of the cause of helping people with disabilities as a special care institution in Beijing.At the same time,social work as a helping profession and activity has also started to participate in the care services for people with disabilities.However,the combination of professional social work and care services for the disabled is still a new exploration,and this process is inevitably faced with some development problems.This study takes the Warm Home in Beijing C Town as an example,and uses literature and field research methods to analyze the current situation of the operation of the care institution and the specific cases of social work intervention in the care service for the disabled,and summarizes the shortcomings of the care service of the Warm Home in C Town in the process of social work intervention from the perspectives of both the operation of the care institution and social work intervention,and gives relevant feasible suggestions for better social work intervention in the care service for the disabled.The aim is to enrich the research on care services for the disabled in the field of social work and to provide experience for other care institutions for the disabled that introduce professional social work.
