China is the country with the richest tungsten resources in the world and the largest exporter.China Tungsten Online development is benefited from the rich tungsten resources in China and the prosperous of internet technology.With the maturity of the fifth-generation mobile communication technology,internet,and big data technology,domestic tungsten companies have gradually shifted from traditional offline marketing to internet marketing.Especially since the outbreak of the COVID-19,offline marketing has become more difficult and costly,and end customers are more inclined to look for suppliers online.This poses a severe challenge to China Tungsten Online,which is based in e-commerce and is deeply engaged in internet marketing.The research in this thesis will help China Tungsten Online recognize the opportunities and challenges it faces in the international and domestic markets,discover the problems and deficiencies and improve its own internet marketing strategy in a targeted manner.Moreover,the research of this thesis has reference significance to other similar companies.This thesis focuses on in-depth interviews with terminal customers of tungsten products,combined with ’Marketing’,’Internet Marketing’,’Industrial Product Marketing’and ’Long Tail Theory’,using PEST,‘Michael Port Five Forces’ and SWOT analysis methods to analyze the development status of the tungsten industry and the macro and micro competitive environment China Tungsten Online faced.According to the company’s information and the author’s several years of work experience,analyze the company’s competitive advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and threats,and analyze marketing status and problems from the 4P perspective.According to the interview results,the main consideration factors for customers purchasing tungsten products and the improvement method of China Tungsten Online internet marketing strategy are proposed,that is,to first build a company brand of which is centered on customer needs,based on excellent product quality,and professional service as the core.Secondly,from the combination of consumer market and commercial market segmentation to improve the market structure and thus increase marketing efficiency,set up a single segmentation target market and micro market,and provide differentiated services and product market positioning.Then implementing the long-tail marketing strategy from the perspective of 4P based on market segmentation,establishing and strengthening customer relationships through the combination of own media,paid media and word-of-mouth media through online marketing communication methods,and finally proposed customer relationship management to establish long lasting relationship.
