The Study On Green Total Factor Productivity And Influencing Factors Of Transportation Industry In Zhejiang Province

Transportation is an important service industry.As an important carrier serving the economy and society,it constantly meets the demands of socio-economic development and provides a strong guarantee for realizing the goal of becoming a transportation powerhouse.As a pioneer in the construction of a strong transportation province,Zhejiang Province has achieved leapfrog development in the transportation industry,However,in the process of rapid development in recent years,the environmental pollution caused by transportation cannot be ignored.The sustainable development of transportation in Zhejiang Province is imminent,and the construction of green transportation system needs to be further improved.Total factor productivity can not only measure the quality of economic growth,but the improvement of productivity can also represent the source of economic growth.Therefore,from the perspective of transportation economy,this paper measures the green total factor productivity of transportation in Zhejiang Province,and further selects the influencing factors to analyze it,and finally puts forward suggestions on the development of green transportation in Zhejiang Province based on the current situation of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province.Firstly,this paper constructs the input-output index system of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province,and uses the DEA model and the ML index method to measure the environmental efficiency value and dynamic GTFP change index of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province.According to the further decomposed EC index and TC index,this paper analyzes the power source of the growth of green total factor productivity in transportation in Zhejiang Province.Through the combination of static and dynamic as well as horizontal comparison with other provinces,the research results show that considering the environment and energy consumption factors have different effects on the growth of TFP in different periods.Environmental factors have a positive impact on the GTFP of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province as a whole from 2013 to 2019,which has promoted the improvement of productivity.At the same time,different regions also showed different impact results.Secondly,six influencing indicators were selected to analyze the influencing factors of the green total factor productivity of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province.The results of the grey correlation analysis showed that the ranking of each influencing factor and the growth of the transportation GTFP in Zhejiang Province is as follows:environmental regulation> industrial structure>urbanization level>auxiliary industry>economic development level > energy consumption structure.In terms of policy formulation and development planning,Zhejiang Province can be suitable for environmental regulation,industrial structure and industry coordinated development,which is more conducive to the improvement of GTFP in Zhejiang Province.Finally,from the comprehensive consideration of manpower,capital,energy and services,together with the current situation of the transportation industry in Zhejiang Province and the analysis results of influencing factors,several suggestions are put forward to balance resource investment,suitable environmental regulation intensity,adjust industrial structure,focus on talent training,government guides optimization of energy consumption structure,and enhance the potential of coordinated development of the industry,so as to help Zhejiang Province develop green transportation and further improve the construction of green transportation system.
