Research On The Development Of Green Finance Business Of A Bank JX Branch

With the continuous and rapid development of the social economy and the sustained improvement of environmental consciousness,more and more attention has been paid to environmental issues and sustainable development has become the mainstream trend.General Secretary Xi pointed out to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization,search a new path orientated on ecological priority and green development.As an important hand of green and low-carbon growth,green finance is constantly contributing to green development.During recent years,China has frequently issued relevant policies to support the development of green finance,especially under the background of the major decision of carbon peak and carbon neutrality,green finance has gradually become an important direction for the business transformation of financial institutions,especially commercial banks.At the same time,with the liberalization of interest rates and the strengthening of financial supervision,the operating pressure of commercial banks has increased,and the emergence of green finance has provided new opportunities for the development of commercial banks.Under the background of vigorous development of green finance,how to keep up with the development of The Times,seize opportunities,form differentiated competitive advantages,enhance market competitiveness and expand market influence,has become a new research direction for commercial banks.This dissertation takes JX Branch of Bank A as the research object,and analyzes its green finance growth.At the beginning of this dissertation,the relevant literature of domestic and overseas green finance were sorted out and analyzed,this paper elaborates the meaning and characteristics of green finance as well as its system and mechanism.From three perspectives the development status of domestic green finance is introduced: green credit,green bond and green fund.Secondly,this paper introduces the basic operation,the development history of green finance,and the development status of green finance of JX Branch of bank A.Then,based on qualitative analysis,this dissertation explains the motivation of JX Branch of bank A to develop green finance.Finally,contrastive analysis with different types of representative commercial banks is carried out by using the method of case analysis,it finds the problems existing in the development of green finance in JX branch of bank A,combined with the analysis of the bank’s advantages in developing green finance,this paper puts forward the development ideas,development principles,development goals,specific development countermeasures and safeguards for the development of green finance for JX Branch of Bank A.The research of this dissertation enriches the academic achievements on the formulation of green finance strategies,and inspire commercial banks facing similar problems on the development of green finance.
