The Yangtze River Delta region is currently with the most powerful synthesize strength,and it is also the most mature urban agglomeration.The growing process of urbanization in the Yangtze River Delta region advance,it has brought environmental problems that can not be ignored,such as excessive environmental load,obvious differences in environmental quality in urban agglomerations and so on.At the same time,the fluidity of pollution will also affect the level of environmental pollution in different regions.The special contradiction between administrative boundaries and unbounded environmental pollution has brought certain challenges to the environmental governance of the Yangtze River Delta region.Thence,it is of crucial academic and applicatory value to study the spatial distribution of environmental pollution in this region,reveal the relationship and evolution law of environmental pollution among cities,and formulate targeted governance countermeasures and policies.This thesis regard the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as the object of study,based on the environmental pollution discharge data in the 2009-2021 statistical yearbook.The entropy method was used to synthesize environmental pollution index,and the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of environmental pollution were analyzed.The revised gravity model was used to construct the spatial association network structure of environmental pollution and establish the spatial association relationship of environmental pollution in urban agglomeration.The structural characteristics of environmental pollution spatial network were analyzed from the perspectives of the whole and individual respectively.The QAP regression analysis method is used to study the influencing factors of the spatial correlation of environmental pollution in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,and bring forward suitable countermeasures and advices for environmental pollution control in the Yangtze River Delta.The results of the study found:(1)During the investigation period,the overall environmental pollution standard of this region has been keep improving,and the quantity of cities with low pollution level and low pollution level has increased.However,there are still significant differences in environmental pollution levels among cities.(2)The environmental pollution of this region presents the cross-regional and multi-city correlation characteristics,with obvious spatial correlation relationship,and the spatial correlation of environmental pollution gradually increases during the investigation period.The economically advanced cities such as Suzhou,Shanghai,Hangzhou,Hefei and Nanjing have become environmental pollution related network centers.According to the spatial relationship,urban agglomerations can be divided into three types: "net benefit","two-way spillover" and "net spillover".Among them,"net spillover" plate members are mostly distributed in Anhui Province.Huzhou City and its adjacent environmental pollution present spatial agglomeration,which has a strong spatial spillover effect.(3)The differences of economic development level,geographical location and population density have become major influencing factors of spatial interactions of environmental pollution in the region.The quality of economic development,population size per unit area and environmental pollution in the region have obvious positive association.The greater the divergence between the quality of economic development and the size of the population per unit area,more likely to generate spatial correlations of environmental pollution.The research in this paper can provide a reference for revealing the formation mechanism of environmental pollution in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,and provide countermeasures and decision support for the formulation of integrated governance strategies.
