In the continuous evolution of the history of civilization,Chinese traditional culture embodies thousands of years of wisdom and experience,fully demonstrating the unique temperament of national culture.In recent years,more emphasis has been placed on the importance of excellent traditional culture in the field of art.In essence,this topic focuses on the revival of traditional Chinese culture,aiming to provide a new perspective for the creation and development of batik art,and fully integrate the national elements and spirit,and integrate contemporary art into the cultural and historical context.In traditional Chinese culture,mythological stories and mythological images can reveal the thinking mode of civilization in its early stage and directly show the world outlook of human beings in the early stage.Understanding and understanding mythological thinking can better explore the root of national culture.The Classic of Mountains and Seas can fully reflect the way of thinking of Chinese mythology.This kind of good culture has typical characteristics,showing the characteristics of viewing things with oneself and expressing feelings with things.In China’s traditional folk,batik is one of the important printing and dyeing technology.The history of batik printing can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period.As early as2000 years ago,batik printing began to be used by our ancestors,and reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty.The clothes and articles of daily use made by batik are pleasing to the eye,simple and generous,with distinct and strong national characteristics,which can show the local people’s attitude towards life and art.Batik has rich modern value,including art value,cultural value and aesthetic value,and has a strong artistic value.In this topic,the author tries to create artistic works with traditional Chinese aesthetic images through batik techniques based on the mythological images and artistic conception in The Book of Mountains and Seas.On the basis of absorbing the essence of Traditional Chinese culture,modern aesthetic elements are integrated to truly render the mysterious color of Oriental culture and highlight the rich aesthetic deposits.This work of art fully draw lessons from the thoughts of shanhaijing,myth of these design elements to a certain extent created again,at the same time,apply to a variety of methods,such as exaggeration "jingwei reclamation" and "hou yi shot," two stories into the creation of batik,make batik works embodies the contemporary aesthetic taste,but also able to transmit the essence of traditional culture.This paper adopts literature research method and case analysis method in the preliminary research,and then carries out creative practice on the basis of the preliminary research.The paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly analyzes the background,research status,significance and research content and methods.The second chapter explores the dyeing methods and practices of batik,mainly from the classification of dyes,the historical development of batik,the status quo of application and other aspects.The third chapter analyzes the background and research of the myth pictures and texts in The Classic of Mountains and Seas,focusing on the historical background and the development of the myth pattern.The fourth chapter focuses on the study of the creation of the mythological pattern of The Classic of Mountains and Seas in batik.Through the description of the conception and creation process of the work,it analyzes and studies how to integrate the excellent traditional context,aesthetic interest and spirit of The Times in the process of modern batik art creation.
