China is the largest coal producer and consumer in the world,and the coal industry is the pillar industry of resource-based cities including Yulin.It is of great significance to study the coordination level of resource environment economy in the development process of coal industry and explore its driving factors for promoting the sustainable development of coal industry and even resource-based cities.The development of coal industry relies on the internal essence of coal resource development,which produces external effects including economic benefits and pollutant emission.Its coordination level is also driven by factors such as policy,scientific and technological innovation,market and the economic level of regional cities.This paper takes Yulin,a typical coal resource city,as an example to carry out relevant research,in order to provide ideas for the sustainable development of coal industry in resource-based cities.Firstly,based on the relevant data of Yulin coal industry from 2008 to 2019,the system analysis method is used to construct the coal industry resource environment economy composite system,identify the key elements of the composite system and establish its coordinated development evaluation index system,determine the index weight by entropy method,and then evaluate the coordination level of the composite system and its subsystems through the coupling coordination degree model,This paper analyzes the driving factors of the coordinated development of coal industry by using the grey correlation model,and finally puts forward some suggestions to promote the sustainable development of coal industry.The coordination level of coal industry composite system fluctuates with the evaluation results of resource subsystem,environmental subsystem and economic subsystem.The degree of mutual promotion or inhibition between subsystems directly affects the coordination level of composite system.The sustainable development of Yulin coal industry depends on the coordination of multiple environmental and economic factors in the process of coal resource development.Research findings:1)From 2008 to 2019,the comprehensive evaluation values of resources,environment and economic subsystems of Yulin coal industry experienced a change process of first decreasing and then increasing,which were 0.2086-0.6113,0.3277-0.6422 and 0.3717-0.7711 respectively.In 2016,the environmental and economic subsystems developed well,and the coal industry gradually changed to an environment-friendly type with low consumption,low pollution and high efficiency.2)From 2008 to 2019,the coupling degree of any two subsystems and three systems in the resources-environment-economy system of the coal industry was greater than 0.87,while the coupling coordination degree fluctuates to a certain extent in the range of 0.59-0.81,reflecting that the three were closely related to each other,but the degree of coordination was not enough.In this period,it was evaluated and determined as mild coordination-mild imbalance-mild coordination,which urgently needs to be upgraded to the advanced coordination level.3)The driving factors of the coordinated development of the coal industry are related from strong to weak: the level of economic development,the strength of policy implementation,the coal market environment,the financial capacity of the government and the ability of scientific and technological innovation.In the future,it is necessary to build a driving mode dominated by the government and the market,including:strengthening scientific and technological innovation to boost economic growth;Strengthen government promotion and policy implementation;Adhere to market leadership and optimize the market environment. |
