The passive containment cooling system(PCS)is one of the main passive safety systems in the advanced pressurized water reactor(APWR).The vapor of the coolant from the reactor system into the containment vessel when the Loss Of Coolant Accident(LOCA)and Main Steam Line Break(MSLB)occur.The heat is transferred to the inside surface of the steel containment vessel by convection and condensation of steam and through the steel wall by conduction,which will utilize natural phenomena to remove the heat released from the reactor to the environment during the basic accidents for preventing the overpressure of the containment shell.In this paper,the COSINE containment analysis program is used to establish a CERT model to study the heat transfer problems of PCS,the correctness of the COSINE containment analysis program and the reliability of the calculated results have been verified by comparing with the data from the containment analysis program and the experiment.The analyses on some concerned factors(the initial temperature of the heat sink in the containment,wind velocity in the rising section of the outer ring cavity of the containment,the initial temperature of the gas space in the containment,temperature of the outer ring cavity of the containment,the steam flow rate emitted at the breach in the containment)have been performed.The results show that the amount of steam flow emitted at the breach has a significant effect on pressure and temperature,when the steam discharge flow at the breach increases by 50%,the peak pressure increases by about 40%,and the peak temperature increases by about 15%;the initial temperature of the heat sink has a significant effect no matter in the early or middle of the discharge,when the initial temperature of the heat sink increases by 10 K,the peak pressure increases by about 5% and the peak temperature increases by about 3%;the influence of the wind velocity态temperature of the outer ring cavity and the influence of the initial temperature of the gas space in the shell on peak pressure and temperature is negligible.
