Li Guozhen’s Contribution And Influence To The Ceramic Industry Of New China

Li Guozhen(1916-2000)was a famous ceramic engineer in modern China,who restored a variety of ancient famous porcelains as a core technician,participated in the production of “Jianguo porcelain“ and "Catch up with Japanese porcelain",and directed the development of advanced ceramics such as fine stoneware,reinforced porcelain and bone porcelain.In recent years,Rui Xue,Zheng Kangni and Zhang Hao have mentioned Li Guozhen when studying Wang Fan and Zhou Ren ’s technical exchanges between China and Eastern Europe.However,there is still a lack of in-depth discussion on his academic growth and influence.Based on literature research,this study explores Mr.Li Guozhen ’s contribution and influence to the ceramic industry of New China,indicates its important role in the process of traditional Chinese ceramic technology turning to science and technology,and complements the deficiency of research on scientific and technological figures.Through the literature research method,this paper indicates the contribution and related influence of Li Guozhen ’s use of advanced science and technology to restore historical famous kilns,guiding and improving the quality of advanced ceramic production,improving the science and technology of new China ’s ceramic industry,and promoting the rapid development of China ’s export trade.Li Guozhen advocated the application of modern scientific and technological methods to ceramics.He successively applied spectrometer,scanning electron microscope,high temperature microscope,polarizing microscope,spectrophotometer,colorimeter,differential thermal analyzer and other analytical techniques to the research and restoration of representative famous porcelains such as Guan Kiln,Ru Kiln,Ding Kiln,Longquan Kiln and Yaozhou Kiln.The similarities and differences and principles of chemical composition,microstructure and physical properties of ancient ceramics and contemporary ceramic body glaze were compared and analyzed.The scientific and technological analysis data and results were used to guide the restoration of ancient famous porcelain technology and ceramic technology innovation,which promoted the restoration of traditional famous porcelain production technology and improved the development of contemporary ceramic industry and the scientific and standardized ceramic production process.Drawing on the collaborative research method of the history of science,Li Guozhen’s hard-working,pioneering and enterprising craftsman spirit is comprehensively summarized,and Li Guozhen’s promotion effect and far-reaching educational significance on the dissemination,inheritance and development of ceramic science and technology in China are summarized.Using the method of text analysis,this paper collected materials related to Li Guozhen ’s students,and analyzed their behavior habits such as positive life and serious and responsible work,and their influence on their personal growth and subsequent ceramic research,ceramic industry,talent training and other related fields in China.Using the ’’ collection project ’’research method,this paper analyzed the key factors such as family and work in Li Guozhen ’s academic growth process,and explored the basic laws of his growth and success.This paper made a comprehensive study of Li Guozhen ’s family background and scientific research process,clarified his academic contribution to the development and inheritance of modern ceramic history in China.By analyzing his dedication to scientific research,attaching importance to ceramic education and leading by example,and promoting the scientific and standardized contribution of ceramic production,this paper illustrated the profound influence and practical significance of the dissemination of ceramic science and technology and the development of ceramic science and technology education in China.The research will promote the inheritance and promotion of the spirit of scientists,and will also encourage the young generation to grow up and cultivate the spirit of scientists.
