With the rapid development of China’s metallurgical construction industry,more and more engineering projects are carried out in the mode of general contracting of design units.Project schedule management is one of the most important objectives of EPC project management,which is often the key to the success or failure of EPC project.Therefore,improving the level of project schedule management is the problem that engineering technology companies need to solve,and it is also the way to continuously promote management improvement,and professional project management tools and methods are the basis for improving the level of project schedule management.In the process of project management of sintering project in Maanshan Iron and Steel Co.,the network planning technology and critical path method are used to prepare the project schedule plan for the optimization of construction period and resource allocation;in the process of project implementation,earned value method and bar chart method are selected to carry out effective dynamic management of the project progress,which has laid a solid foundation for the success of the whole project.On the basis of introducing the theory of project schedule management,this paper introduces the general situation of sintering project of Masteel,the project management mode of MCC Huatian company,and analyzes the factors affecting the project schedule.Then,WBS technology is used to decompose and code the project work;network planning technology and critical path method are used to estimate the project schedule Finally,the schedule of the project is worked out.In order to ensure the implementation of the project schedule,the bar chart analysis method,earned value analysis method,PDCA cycle and other effective management measures and tools are widely used in the actual implementation process of sintering project of Masteel.After studying the schedule management of sintering project in Maanshan Iron and Steel Co.,it can be found that:clear and simplified work breakdown structure;scientific and reasonable estimation of construction period;hierarchical decomposition schedule is the basis for the success of project schedule management.MCC Huatian Engineering Technology Co.,Ltd.is a first-class metallurgical project design unit in China.Over the years,it has achieved a full range of sinter plant design and general contracting performance in the field of metallurgical sintering.Therefore,through the study of MCC Huatian’s schedule control in the sintering project general contract of Masteel,and the optimization of the project schedule,we can learn from the beneficial experience and play a positive role in optimizing the construction cycle of metallurgical engineering projects. |
