Marx’s needs theory was formed in Marx’s profound criticism of capitalism,starting from the analysis of real human needs,revealing that needs are the representation of human’s essential power,and profoundly expounding the relationship between human beings,nature and society.It has rich ecological implications.Therefore,studying the ecological connotation of Marx’s theory of needs,exploring the essence of needs,and identifying the value coordinates of human beings in nature can fundamentally solve ecological problems,realize the harmonious coexistence of human and nature,and promote a new form of human civilization,namely ecology.The leap of civilization.This paper sorts out the process of the formation and development of Marx’s needs theory,and explains the basic content of Marx’s needs theory.First,it summarizes the formation process of Marx’s needs theory from the historical dimension,and further explains the basic content of needs theory.Marx’s theory of needs takes the interests of real people as its logical starting point.In the Manuscripts of Economics and Philosophy in 1844,he turns from political criticism to the analysis of capitalist private ownership,the classification of needs,the alienation of needs,and the development of needs and people,etc.Basic issues are discussed in depth.From the perspective of historical materialism,German Ideology clarifies the nature of needs and the theory of the developmental hierarchy of needs,marking the basic formation of Marx’s theory of needs.Works such as Das Kapital are based on the analysis of political economy and further enrich Marx’s theory of needs.Marx’s needs theory is rich in content,and reflects the scientific and critical nature of his theory from the perspectives of the nature of needs,the classification of needs,and the characteristics of needs.Secondly,analyze the ecological implication of Marx’s need theory.Marx’s need theory clarifies the important position of nature as the inorganic body of human beings,emphasizing that the satisfaction of human needs must pay attention to the survival rights of all things in nature,so Marx’s need theory has a unique ecological implication.It reflects the natural integrity of man and nature,embodies the metabolic laws of nature,and outlines the relationship between alienation needs and ecological crisis.From a higher level,it points to the "double liberation" of man and nature.Marx’s need theory is an important source of Marx’s and subsequent Marxists’ views on nature and ecology.Thirdly,it reveals the era value of Marx’s need theory to the construction of ecological civilization.In the new era,the relationship between man and nature and the relationship between man and society have undergone profound changes.However,Marx needs theory to always stand at the forefront of the times by virtue of its thorough scientific nature and the quality of keeping pace with the times.In theory,it deepens the ecological concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature,consolidates the theoretical foundation of the community of life on earth,and clarifies the ultimate value of human freedom and comprehensive development;in practice,in order to further implement the ecological development concept,cultivate The concept of ecological needs,improving the ecological protection system,and building a community with a shared future for mankind have provided profound practical inspiration.
