| The Zhuang Erlian Associated Gas Treatment Plant has a cooling water tower that is used to cool and reduce the temperature of the water circulating in the heat exchangers.However,the cooling water is sourced from the Luohe Layer water source well,which has a high salt content.This leads to severe scaling in the heat exchangers,reducing their efficiency and seriously affecting the production yield and quality of light hydrocarbon products.Therefore,this paper aims to study electrochemical descaling technology and develop a circulating water desalination device to improve the quality of the cooling water in the tower,mitigate scaling,reduce the operating costs of the system,and increase the production rate of light hydrocarbons.Firstly,this article conducted a study on the mechanism of scale formation and the electrochemical descaling technology of the circulating water system,and conducted a survey and analysis of the water quality in Luohu River.Results showed that the river has extremely high electrical conductivity,high calcium hardness,high alkalinity,and high carbonate content,making it particularly prone to scaling.Through electrochemical experiments,the main parameters of the electrodialysis device were selected,including the cathode and anode materials,optimal voltage,and optimal flow rate.Results demonstrated that the best descaling effect of the electrodialysis equipment was achieved when using stainless steel mesh for the cathode,titanium-based oxide-titanium plate for the anode,a voltage of 20 v,and a flow rate of 20m~3/h.secondly,based on the process characteristics of electrodialysis,the overall structure and key components of the electrodialysis reaction tank and shallow sand filter were designed.Their three-dimensional models were established using the solid works modeling software.The strength analysis of the key components was conducted using ANSYS software,and the movement rules of the internal fluid were studied through numerical simulation using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)technology.Results revealed that the down-up circulation method was the preferred flow mode for the electrodialysis equipment as it achieved uniform treatment of circulating water,effectively improved desalination efficiency,and stabilized water quality.The specially designed water distributor delivered the water to the filter layer in a parallel flow state,which played a significant filtering role.Finally,on-site testing was conducted on the electrodialysis equipment,which showed stable operation,significant reduction in scaling tendency of circulating water,and a remarkable decrease in hardness.In summary,the theoretical research and experimental results presented in this article provide guidance and scientific basis for future research on electrodialysis equipment. |
