This thesis takes the stylistic characteristics of Miao silver jewelry in Qiandongnan as the object of study. As the largest Miao settlement area, the Qian southeast region of Guizhou has the largest number of Miao branches, the smallest degree of Sinicization, the largest number of silver ornaments, and a more complete and independent preservation of Miao culture compared to other regions. The silver ornaments in this region are numerous, rich in variety and distinctive, and highly representative.Due to a variety of factors such as the complexity of the Miao clans, the Miao silver jewelry in Qiandongnan has strong regional characteristics, and even the silver jewelry of the different regions it contains differs in shape. The Miao silver ornaments of Qian southeast China, with their unique characteristics and different shapes, are a wonder of the Miao culture. This thesis uses documentary research, fieldwork, and in-depth interviews to obtain first-hand graphic data based on the selection of three regions within the Qian southeast region with representative features of silver ornamentation, namely,Leishan,Taijiang, and Danzhai, through fieldwork and oral interviews with Yang Guangbin,an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in the Qian southeast region, and conducts research accordingly. The Miao silver jewelry in Qian southeast China, like Miao silver jewelry everywhere, has undergone the process of diffusion from simple and simple to exquisite and complicated. However, due to the influence of the history, culture, and economy of the region,as well as the primitive beliefs of the local Miao people and the concept of animism, the Miao silver ornaments in Qian southeast China are highly regional. There are great differences in the form and style, decorative language, and spatial structure of silver ornaments in Leishan,Taijiang, and Danzhai, which make the Miao silver ornaments in Qian southeast China unique and distinctive.Due to the primitive and simple morphological style, heavy and profound decorative language and orderly spatial structure, the silver ornaments in Leishan present a lofty and ancient style;the silver ornaments in Taijiang reflect a magnificent and exuberant modeling feature due to the exquisite and gorgeous morphological style, exaggerated and complicated decorative language and richly layered spatial structure;the silver ornaments in Danzhai present a lively and elegant modeling feature, with a fresh and lively morphological style,a beautiful and simple decorative language and a spatial structure due to the wax and wax.The silver ornaments of Danzhai region are fresh and lively in form and style, with simple decorative language, and the spatial structure tends to be flat due to the influence of batik. The Miao silver ornaments in Qian southeast China are popular with horn crown ornaments, which are good at using natural elements such as plants and animals, flowers and birds, presenting the modeling concept of all things have spirit. In this thesis, the design concept of localization is combined with the modeling characteristics of silver ornaments in Qian southeast China to explore the value of localized design of Miao silver ornaments in Qian southeast China,to break the media limitation of silver,to provide guidance on the modeling characteristics for the innovation of localized design elements of silver ornaments,to provide differentiated visual symbols for the creation of regional brands in Qian southeast China,to provide theoretical support for design practice, and to promote the silver ornaments in Qian southeast China to become It also provides theoretical support for design practice, promotes the silver jewelry in Qian southeast China as a local symbol, and provides a new and feasible path for the living heritage of Miao silver jewelry and other intangible cultural heritage.
