China regards high-quality development as the primary task of comprehensively building a socialist modernized country.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the important position of urban development in economic and ecological civilization construction,actively promote the green and low-carbon development of urban economy,and achieve urban green transformation and high-quality economic development progress.At the same time,high-speed rail construction is an important project of urban transport infrastructure construction in recent years.With its own economic attributes,high-speed rail promotes the flow of production factors,drives spatial knowledge spillover,and provides good development conditions for the city to create a green economic environment.Therefore,exploring how to leverage the role of China’s high-speed rail construction in the development of urban green economy plays an important role in the high-quality development and construction of cities.This article is based on statistical data from 202 prefecture level cities from 2009 to 2019,using the MinDS model and the Global Malmquist Luenberger index to calculate the static efficiency and dynamic changes of China’s urban green economy.Combining the breadth and strength of high-speed rail connections,an indicator of urban high-speed rail development level is constructed.After clarifying the spatial and dynamic correlation of green economy efficiency indicators,the dynamic spatial Durbin model is adopted,Explore the impact of factors such as the development level of high-speed rail on the efficiency of urban green economy.The research results of this article indicate that cities with high levels of high-speed rail development in China are concentrated in the southeast coastal areas,and populous provinces and provincial capital cities have advantages in high-speed rail development.The development of green economy in the vast majority of cities in China is in a non DEA efficient stage,and the efficiency value of urban green economy has spatial agglomeration,with numerical distribution high in the east and low in the west,and there is a neighboring relationship at the geographical level.In addition,both the provinces with high and low efficiency rankings,as well as the eastern,central,and western regions,exhibit temporal persistence characteristics.The construction of urban high-speed rail can drive factor flow and spatial knowledge spillover,thereby driving the development of urban green economy and ecological civilization progress,and affecting the efficiency level of green economy.According to the empirical results,it can be seen that the development level of high-speed rail plays a promoting role in improving the efficiency of urban green economy,and this promoting effect has a spatial effect.From the perspective of overall effect,the impact of three influencing factors,namely scientific research level,government intervention,and urbanization level,on the efficiency of green economy has always been significant in both the long and short term,and the effect of scientific research level and government intervention is significantly positive,while urbanization is significantly negative.
