Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide emitted by human production activities are the main cause of global climate change.The international community has reached a consensus on preventing global climate deterioration by stabilizing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.Energy industry is the main industry causing a large number of greenhouse gas emissions.It is urgent to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in the process of human economic development.The indicator of green total factor energy efficiency has multiple meanings,including not only economic growth,but also carbon emission and energy consumption.Measure the green total factor energy efficiency of various provinces in China,analyze this index,and explore how various influencing factors play a role,which is of great significance to China’s energy conservation and emission reduction,green development and sustainable development.Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2005 to 2019,this paper first measures the green total factor energy efficiency of various provinces in China and analyzes the results.It is found that the level of green all factor energy efficiency in China is constantly improving.The efficiency level increased rapidly from 2005 to 2011,and the increase rate of efficiency level decreased significantly from 2012 to 2019.The continuous improvement of green total factor energy efficiency means that the relationship between China’s economy,ecology and resources is more harmonious,and economic development and environmental and ecological protection go hand in hand.Then,using the dynamic spatial Dobbin model,this paper analyzes the impact of the development status of the energy field and other factors on the green total factor energy efficiency of this region and adjacent regions,and further analyzes the spatial spillover effect.The results show that the time lag term,spatial effect and time-space lag term of green total factor energy efficiency have a significant impact on it,so it is very necessary to consider the dynamic spatial econometric model in this paper.The absolute value of the long-term effect of each influencing factor on the level of green total factor energy efficiency is greater than the absolute value of the short-term effect,indicating that each variable has a more far-reaching impact on the level of green total factor energy efficiency.The expansion of energy consumption scale will significantly reduce the green all factor energy efficiency of the province and adjacent provinces.The expansion of energy scale will lead to the significant reduction of regional green total factor energy efficiency.Increasing investment in energy industry will increase the agglomeration of local energy industries and high energy consuming industries,increase energy consumption and carbon emissions,and is not conducive to the improvement of local green all factor energy efficiency.The optimization of energy consumption structure in the province can effectively promote the improvement of green total factor energy efficiency in the province,but it will inhibit the improvement of green total factor energy efficiency in neighboring provinces.The increase in the proportion of investment in traditional energy in the province will reduce the green all factor energy efficiency of the province and improve the green all factor energy efficiency of neighboring provinces.Whether in the short term or in the long term,population growth and economic growth will have a beneficial impact on energy conservation and emission reduction in the province.On the whole,the influencing factors of green total factor energy efficiency in China have spatial spillover effects,which affect each other within and between regions;The green total factor energy efficiency of provinces in different geographical locations is also affected by various influencing factors.The influencing factors will not only cause the change of local green total factor energy efficiency through direct effect,but also affect the level of green total factor energy efficiency in surrounding areas through indirect effect,and amplify or reduce the impact of green total factor energy efficiency on the region through feedback effect.The above conclusions have important policy implications for the progress of emission reduction and energy conservation in China.
