A Study Of Marx’s Concept Of Nature And Its Contemporary Value

The correct understanding of the relationship between human beings and nature is the most basic,direct and closely important manifestation concerning the survival and development of human beings,and is a constant theme of research.After the industrial revolution,the relationship between man and nature began to be strained,and mankind both enjoyed the gifts of nature and suffered from the ecological crisis,which has reached a point that mankind cannot ignore.In the face of various ecological problems that continue to emerge,human beings began to face up to the relationship between man and nature as a way to find the best solution to the conflict between man and nature.Marx made the liberation of all mankind his life’s work and pursuit,and carried this mission through the study of nature.With dialectics and the materialistic view of history as his research perspective,he explained the dialectical unity of man and nature,providing theoretical inspiration for the practical solution of the contradiction between man and nature,and providing value points for the realization of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.In the context of capitalist society,Marx’s view of nature,after abandoning the theoretical basis of Hegel’s objective idealist view of nature and Feuerbach’s anthropological materialist view of nature,has gone through four periods of germination,formation,development and maturity,and finally formed Marx’s dialectical materialist view of nature.Marx’s view of nature is rich in content: in terms of the epistemological premises for the formation of the idea of the relationship between man and nature,it mainly includes the objectivity and pre-existence of nature,practice as the intermediary of the dialectical unity relationship between man and nature,and science and technology as the key factor in dealing with the relationship between man and nature.In terms of the dialectical unity relationship between man and nature,it mainly includes man’s passivity in front of nature,man’s dynamism to nature and the dialectical unity of man and nature.In terms of the alienation and ultimate "reconciliation" of the relationship between man and nature,it mainly includes the alienation of the relationship between man and nature,the root cause of the alienation of man and nature is capitalist private ownership,and the ultimate reconciliation of man and nature.From the perspective of Chinese value,it provides theoretical guidance for the development of the Chinese version of Marx’s concept of nature,a theoretical basis for the construction of an ecological philosophy with Chinese characteristics,and an action guide for the promotion of a Chinese modernization in which human beings and nature live together in harmony,thus furthering the construction of ecological civilization in China.In terms of world significance,it transcends the limitations of Western ecocentrism and anthropocentrism,establishes an objective and scientific view of nature,analyzes the root causes of the outbreak of the global ecological crisis,provides governance ideas for the solution of the global ecological crisis,and creates conditions for the realization of free and comprehensive human development.
