An Eeg Study On The Effects Of Visual Stimuli Of Environmental Pollution On Intertemporal Choice

Environmental problems affect human mental cognitive process through visual stimulation.Intertemporal choice,as an important decision-making ability developed in the process of human social evolution,affects public health and social.Using EEG technology components as biomarkers in the intertemporal choice to examine the environmental pollution on intertemporal choice.Explored the impact of environmental pollution on intertemporal choice,and the impact of different types of environmental pollution on intertemporal choice.In experiment 1,the effects of environmental pollution on intertemporal choice were investigated.The results showed that the condition of natural pollution made significantly more immediate choices than the condition of natural environment and the condition of natural environment had larger P300 amplitude for the immediate choice than the condition of natural pollution did and the condition of natural environment had smaller N1 and ERN amplitude for the immediate choice than the condition of natural pollution did.There is a significant between the condition of natural environment and the condition of natural pollution in the time window of 0～100ms of theta band after making decision moment.Theta band power was lower for the condition of natural pollution than the condition of natural environment.In experiment 2,the condition of different types natural pollution made no significantly more immediate choices than the control group and there were significant differences between different groups of P300 amplitude and the condition of natural environment had smaller ERN amplitude for the immediate choice than the condition of natural pollution did.There is a significant between the control group and solid waste pollution in the time window of 400～500ms of theta band.Faced hostile environment pollution,more conflict feeling when making decisions,pay more attention to the resources,useing the same resources of individuals is more short-sighted.This study has a certain significance for promoting sustainable development.Figure 12;Table 0;Reference 90...
