Human activities profoundly affect terrestrial ecosystems.High-intensity development causes land use changes, which directly leads to the decline of ecosystem services and functional degradation, threatening regional ecological security and human well-being.At the same time, humans are also the drivers of ecological civilization. However, there are relatively few studies on human interests and behaviors driving ecosystem services, and the research work on how they affect ecosystem services needs to be further developed.Clarifying the mechanisms of how stakeholders act on ecosystem services is important for collaborative maintenance of ecosystem services and regional sustainable development. This study focuses on "process change-stakeholder identification-impact pathway analysis-impact measurement",and aims to investigate how stakeholders affect ecosystem services in a typical rapidly urbanizing region of Guangdong Province.Firstly, based on multi-source data such as land use, spatial and scale corrections of equivalent factors were made to measure the value of ecosystem services in the study area from 2015 to 2021 and analyze its spatial and temporal distribution characteristics;on this basis,a conceptual framework of ecosystem service value chain was constructed to identify and analyze the stakeholders of ecosystem services and explore their influence paths on ecosystem services; Finally, with the help of XGBoost model and SHAP decoding model, the quantitative analysis of direct stakeholders’ impacts on ecosystem services was realized. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The value of ecosystem services in Guangdong Province from 2015-2021 is characterized by an overall decline in value, spatial differentiation and urban differences. The spatial differentiation is characterized by a hierarchical structure of "high in the northern mountains and low in the southern coast",which corresponds to the development direction of regional ecological base and urban construction..(2)Based on the conceptual framework of ecosystem service value chain, six categories of ecosystem service stakeholders are identified: management compensation, production and development, processing and transformation, marketing, support and auxiliary, and individual consumers.Based on the analysis of attributes such as benefit needs, behavioral styles and characteristics, direct, indirect and marginal stakeholders of ecosystem services are delineated;stakeholders influence ecosystem service changes by changing the explicit path of land use and the implicit path of ecological compensation.(3)The influence of stakeholders on ecosystem services is two-sided and varied, reflected in the degree of contribution and positive and negative characteristics of the multiple indicators of each stakeholder on ecological services.Government has prominent contributions in both positive and negative impacts on total ecosystem services and four types of subservices, the increase in the number of inhabitants puts pressure on ecological services, but their higher income and consumption have higher positive contributions, and the expansion, investment and proportional structure of different types of enterprises have differential impacts on different types of services.
