At present,the adverse effects of global warming are becoming more and more obvious,and green and low-carbon development has become the common appeal of all mankind.There are many related industries in the tourism industry,and the driving force of energy consumption is strong.Tourism carbon emissions have become one of the important factors affecting climate change.The goals of carbon neutrality and carbon peaking provide new opportunities for natural tourist attractions to get rid of the dependence on ticket economy and develop tourism carbon trading economy in the new era.Carbon sink resources such as forests,grasslands,lakes,and rivers are widely distributed in natural tourist attractions in my country.Fully explore and utilize the huge carbon sink capacity contained in these resources to stimulate the economic development potential of tourism carbon trading.The transformation and upgrading from "ticket economy" to "carbon sink trading economy" is of great significance.Based on the combing and summarization of previous literature research,combined with China’s actual national conditions,this paper constructs a carbon emission and carbon sink calculation model suitable for natural tourist attractions in my country.In 2021,the annual carbon emissions and carbon sinks were calculated empirically,and the economic development potential of carbon sink trading in tourist attractions was further evaluated.Finally,the following findings are obtained:(1)Among the carbon emissions within the geographical space of tourist attractions,the carbon dioxide emissions generated by tourist accommodation are the largest,followed by the carbon emissions of tourism and catering,and then the carbon emissions of tourism activities,and the carbon emissions of tourism transportation are relatively large.less.(2)In terms of carbon sinks in tourist attractions,Huangshan Scenic Area is a natural scenic spot of the national forest park type,with a high forest coverage rate,and the carbon sinks of forest resources account for the vast majority of the carbon accumulation of the entire scenic spot.(3)Based on domestic carbon trading prices,the market value of carbon sinks in Huangshan Scenic Area has exceeded 10 million yuan in2020 and 2021;and based on EU carbon trading prices,the market value of carbon sinks in Huangshan Scenic Area has grown rapidly from 2017 to 2021.The carbon sink trading market in natural tourist attractions has great potential for development.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the reduction of carbon in natural tourist attractions and the development of carbon sink trading economy in China: First,in terms of reducing carbon emissions in scenic spots,tourist attractions should build more energy-saving and environmentally friendly accommodation facilities,and introduce low-carbon Energy,improve energy utilization,advocate green diet,and optimize low-carbon transportation;second,in terms of enhancing carbon absorption in scenic spots,tourist attractions should plant more trees,strengthen forestry resource protection,build wetland ecosystems,and maintain carbon sink systems in scenic spots;Third,in terms of developing the carbon sink trading economy in tourist attractions,this paper believes that we should formulate carbon sink and carbon emission measurement standards,establish a tourism carbon trading platform,strengthen tourism carbon trading market publicity,establish a market supervision mechanism,and strengthen tourism carbon trading talents.Support and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.
