| With the continuous advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, more and more designers are actively responding to the call for "responsible consumption and production" goals and pay more attention to the realization of environmental protection when designing products. However, the current research on sustainable product design methods applied to product design is relatively one-sided,lacking a systematic and comprehensive product demand analysis.Nowadays, children’s toys usually present the characteristics of "fast moving consumer goods".Therefore, when choosing and purchasing children’s toys, safety and hygiene are the primary considerations for parents.Children can subtly accept behavioral guidance when using toys, thereby promoting their awareness of environmental protection. Therefore,it has long-term significance and value to widely promote sustainable concepts in the design, production, and use of children’s toys.Preschool children aged 2-7 already have representational thinking and gradually have a basic understanding of the world, which is an important age range for children’s growth and development.Puzzle combination toys can enable children at this stage to recognize and explore toys with their own sensory organs, thereby promoting children’s intellectual development. Therefore, this type of toy plays an important role in the growth of preschool children. In China, with the continuous development of science and technology, there are more and more types of toys on the market. But now most of the toy products on the market are homogeneous, with short service life and serious waste of resources.Designers of children’s toys have also failed to pay sufficient attention to the matching of toys with the characteristics of children’s staged growth and development. In response to the above problems, this thesis takes preschool children aged 2-7 as the research object, and aims at designing educational combination toys, reviews the current development status of sustainable product design, and summarizes its development trend.According to the theoretical needs of the research field, the QFDE(Quality Function Deployment for Environment)and TRIZ(The Latin word is Teoriya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch)jointly guide the sustainable product design process, which is used to guide the design practice.First, based on the current research on the development trend of sustainable product design, this thesis finds that it has a large research space in the field of children’s toys.Discuss the concept, research status and combination methods of QFDE and TRIZ,choose to use QFDE to comprehensively consider the user needs and environme ntal needs of products, and then combine the concept and method in TRIZ to guide the design, and build the process of jointly guiding sustainable product design by QFDE and TRIZ.Secondly, through research on children’s users, parents’ users of toy product s and children’s toy design experts to obtain demand-related content, use the weight probability comprehensive coefficient method to analyze and determine the proportion of demand importance to provide data support for follow-up research. Then use QFDE to establish the correlation matrix of product requirements, engineering characteristics and product components, and clarify the design points of subsequent educational combination toys.According to the contradiction matrix of TRIZ,the main contradictions in the realization of product requirements in design practice are pointed out,and the design practice of sustainable children’s educational combination toys is carried out following the guidance of TRIZ’s invention principles. Finally, the feasibility of t he scheme is verified by calculating the improvement rate of engineering characteristics and the improvement rate of product demand. This thesis further perfects the sustainable product design method in theory and constructs the sustainable product design process jointly guided by QFDE and TRIZ.In practice, this process is applied to the design of children’s educational combination toys, which provides a new way and idea for the design of sustainable children’s toys. |
