The Application Of Architectural Decoration Elements Of Wuyue Ancient Folk Houses In Guochao Fashion Design

Since 2017,Guochao fashion has gradually entered into the public view,forming a unique school of fashion trend.But its problems also emerge including a simple superposition of Chinese elements,the lack of innovative design,weak brand awareness and other issues.How to promote the creative concept,innovate design ideas,and help Chinese cultural and national brands go to the world,is the responsibility of the time the fashion designers must bear.This paper collects,arranges and analyzes the architectural decoration materials of the ancient folk houses in Wuyue region and the literature materials of the Guochao fashion.By inspecting the ancient folk houses of the family Si in Shaoxing,Zhejiang province,this paper summerizes the decorative details of the ancient residence complex of the Si family from the aspects of design,structure,color and technology,and analyzes on the historical and cultural connotation and the expression methods contained in the architectural decoration.The paper also discusses the methods of transforming architectural decoration elements into Guochao fashion elements,and puts forward the idea of integrating architectural decoration elements of ancient Wuyue folk houses into Guochao fashion design.The research results show that there are abundant Chinese traditional culture,such as filial piety,cultivation and study,lyric and inspiration,cohesion and so on,in the architectural decoration of Wuyue ancient dwellings.In the perfect form of architectural decorative art,the architectural decoration conveys rich humanistic connotation by means of figure metaphor,homophonic analogy,color symbol,digital hint and so on.By transforming the decorative elements of the ancient houses of Wuyue into design elements of Guochao fashion trend by means of direct transformation of figure elements and pattern elements,and by using a combination of technology of large-scale laser cutting,pattern printing,embroidery,weaving and visual deconstruction of fabrics,the paper disigns and produces a series of Guochao fashion with rich architechtural heritage elements of Wuyue ancient fok houses.Through theoretical analysis and practical exploration,this paper shows that the decorative cultural elements extracted from the ancient residential buildings of Wuyue region can be applied to Guochao fashion design,and it is an innovative exploration and pratice in fashion design to inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture,which injects fresh design blood and rich cultural deposits into Guochao fashion,while excavating and displaying the decoration culture of ancient folk houses of Wuyue region.
