A global outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia(NCP)is gradually endangering human lives.Numerous studies have revealed that the epidemic has had a negative impact on the physical and mental health of school-age children and their parents.In such a social setting,clothing innovation is not only to meet the fundamental necessities of body covering and decorating,but also parent-child loungewear is an ideal carrier of emotional design based on current society’s political,economic,and cultural components.Such pioneering creativity in garment design can assist children and parents in adapting to the post-epidemic era and have a good impact on family connections.The subject uses parent-child loungewear as the research object,sets it against the backdrop of the post-epidemic era,uses the public physical and mental health situation,the public consumption mode,and the public life scene as the realistic basis,and combines the theory of emotional design to study the emotional expression of parent-child loungewear in depth.The project aims to transmit family feelings through visual and tactile senses in order to obtain parent-child loungewear that meets the emotional demands of families with school-age children and heals their tired bodies and minds through the application of emotional design theory in parent-child loungewear.The article employs a literature research method,a questionnaire survey method,an observation method,and a design practice method.First,it composes the current research status of home wear,systematically summarizes the five main research contents of home wear,and summarizes the theoretical results of emotional home wear design;second,it discusses the key factors of parent-child home wear design in the post-epidemic era,and clarifies that the design development tren Following that,we summarized the physical and mental characteristics of school-age children and their parents through life observation and literature reading,and we collected questionnaires to understand the cognition and demand of parents of school-age children for parent-child loungewear;after that,we combined Norman’s "Three Levels of Emotional Design" theory to summarize the emotional design of post-epidemic parent-child loungewear.Finally,design practice validated the rationality of the design method.
