| High-tech industry has the unique advantages of high technology,high value-added and high permeability,and is a key force leading China’s industrial transformation,but compared with developed countries,China’s high-tech industry still has a lot of room for development,and some "neck" problems still need to be solved.In the context of China’s economy into the stage of high-quality development,the digital economy brings great momentum to the high-quality development of China’s economy,and the development of digital economy provides opportunities for high-tech industries.With the challenges and opportunities facing the high-tech industry,it has become a practical and urgent topic to study the role of digital in the development of high-tech industry.Meanwhile,the long-term rough and high-speed development of China’s economy has led to the consumption of energy,environmental pollution and other problems.Based on this situation,how to realize the green development of high-tech industries in the context of digital economy is of great significance to China’s economic transformation and development.This thesis takes data from 30 provinces and cities in China as samples,and mainly studies the influence of China’s digital economy on the green development efficiency of high-tech industries.Firstly,we sort out the relevant theories and the mechanism of digital economy to boost the green development of high-tech industry,and on this basis,we empirically test the results of the theoretical analysis,use the entropy value method to measure the level of digital economy development,and then measure the high technology green development efficiency score by MAXDEA software,and analyze the results by region and echelon.Then an empirical regression analysis was conducted with the green development efficiency of high-tech industry as the dependent variable,the level of digital economy development as the core independent variable,and foreign investment,government support,environmental regulation,industry scale,and talent level as control variables on the impact of high-tech green development efficiency from the overall level of digital economy and sub-dimensions.The results of the analysis are as follows:(1)China’s digital economy development level shows an overall upward trend during the five-year period of 2016—2020,but the development is uneven among regions.(2)The green development efficiency of China’s high-tech industry shows an overall rising trend during the five-year period of 2016—2020,and the development efficiency of most provinces in the country is greater than 1.(3)The overall level of China’s digital economy has a more obvious positive impact on the green development efficiency of high-tech industries,and the level of digital infrastructure and digital financial development has a more significant positive impact on the green development efficiency of high-tech industries.(4)Through the robustness test,it is found that the added new infrastructure indicators do not affect the logic of the regression results,indicating that it is reasonable to add new indicators to measure the digital economy.(5)Through the mediation effect analysis,it is verified that the digital economy can enhance the green development efficiency of high-tech industries by influencing the level of industry-academia-research cooperation and energy consumption.Based on the above research findings,corresponding countermeasures are proposed:(1)maintain the growth rate of digital economy development level and reduce spatial differences.Incorporate the priority development of digital economy in central and western regions into policy reference and practice to narrow the gap with eastern regions.(2)Reduce the spatial differences in the efficiency of green development of high-tech industries.In the policy of promoting green development efficiency of high-tech industries,the rapid development of industrial green development efficiency in central and western regions should be taken care of in order to narrow the gap with the level in eastern regions.(3)Strengthen the development of digital economy to empower the green development of high-tech industries.Accelerate the upgrading of new infrastructure to promote high-quality development,strengthen the level of digital industrialization as well as industrial digitization,and increase the support of digital finance to high-tech entrepreneurial enterprises to activate the financial services power engine.(4)Promote industry-university-research cooperation in high-tech fields,break the barriers between schools,research institutions and enterprises,and promote cooperation and innovation.(5)Improve energy utilization efficiency while vigorously developing and using new energy sources to reduce energy consumption and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources. |
