Study On Adaptability Of Ceramic Kiln And Charging Technology In Fujian Area In Song And Yuan Dynasties

Since the Song and Yuan dynasties,along with long-term active production and prosperous overseas trade,ceramic production in Fujian has accumulated considerable technical experience,and the kiln form has gradually developed from the original simple slope dragon kiln to chambered dragon kiln.Judging from the results of data collation,the length,slope and size of the fire chamber of the dragon kiln have undergone obvious adjustments,and tended to be stable around the middle of the Southern Song Dynasty.During this process,the firing tools and firing techniques mainstreamed in the Fujian area have also undergone significant changes.The tool first experienced a process from scratch,and then transformed from a funnel-shaped tool to a state of M-shaped tool are the main state;the change in the firing process is generally manifested in the fact that the bare support firing method is gradually replaced by the tool firing method,and the original firing tools are gradually declining.In the process of evolution,kilns and firing techniques in Fujian area adapt to each other and connect with each other,and finally reach a balance,which establishes the technical foundation for the next stage of development of Fujian ceramics industry.
