| Workplace safety concerns the well-being of the people and the overall economic and social development.Due to the frequent safety accidents,the safety situation in the construction industry is grim,which has always received extensive attention.At present,the general culture level of construction workers in China is relatively low,safety awareness is insufficient,safety knowledge and safety skills are lacking.That makes it is difficult to protect themselves effectively.However,studies have shown that safety education for construction workers is an effective way to improve the situation.Therefore,this study focuses on the current situation and influencing factors of construction workers’ safety education,and explores the effective ways to improve the effect of construction workers safety education.Firstly,this study goes deep into the production line of the construction industry,adopts questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current situation of safety education of construction workers in China,and analysis the existing problems.Secondly,on the basis of current investigation and literature research,identified the influencing factors of the effect of construction workers’ safety education,and then data are collected through survey scale,exploratory factor analysis is carried out,and 26 influencing factors of construction workers’ safety education effect were identified and divided into 6 dimensions: security management-related factors,organizational characteristics-related factors,time-related factors,demographic characteristics-related factors,individual consciousness-related factors,and individual ability and experience。Among them,the dimension of security management-related factors has the most significant impact.Thirdly,using the method of Interpretative Structural Modeling and the hierarchical extraction rule of "Cause first-Consequence first rotation",the interpretative structural model of the influencing factor system of the effect of construction workers’ safety education was constructed,and the structural relationship analysis of influencing factors was carried out.The results show that policy formulation,supervision intensity,enterprise scale,project scale,age,education level,gender and type of work are the underlying factors influencing the effect of safety education for construction workers,which have a wide impact on other elements of the system and play a decisive role in the operation of the whole system.At the same time,it is found that the dimension of security managementrelated factors cover the bottom,deep and middle layers of the system structure,covering the widest level and the most influential path,which is the most important factor group affecting the effect of building safety education among all the dimensions.This is consistent with the results of exploratory factor analysis,and deserves higher attention.Based on the research results,this thesis attempts to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the effect of safety education for construction workers. |
