With the development of Management Practice and theory,performance appraisal,as an important means of management,has developed from the evaluation of Employees’ work performance and rewards and punishments to systematic performance management.Performance management can link the employee’s performance,development and the enterprise’s goal,promote the individual and team’s performance improvement,thus promote the enterprise’s performance improvement,and then promote the enterprise’s strategic goal realization.Performance management has become an important part of company management.The project-type enterprise is the result of the flat reform of the company’s management level.In the project-type enterprise,the project becomes the core of the enterprise’s development.In the project implementation process,the project performance management to the entire company’s overall strategic planning,to the staff’s work enthusiasm and its development,has the vital significance.A reasonable performance management system can not only bring basic guarantee to the development of the company,but also help to form its core competitiveness and improve the performance of the company.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to summarize the practical experience of Enterprise Project Performance Management and to explore how to improve the performance management system with both industry and enterprise characteristics.X Environmental Protection Company as a state-owned holding enterprise,industry leader,to environmental engineering construction as the main business,is a typical project-type enterprise,its project performance management is representative.On the basis of consulting a large number of domestic and foreign relevant literature,this paper uses the relevant theories and research results for reference through questionnaire survey and field interviews,this paper analyzes the problems and their causes in the performance management of X Environmental Protection Company’s project team,and puts forward some pertinent suggestions.The study found that,the main problems of project performance management in X Environmental Protection Company are: Unreasonable Design of project performance target,insufficient process management in the implementation of project performance management,low correlation between project performance pay and business,single application of Project Performance Evaluation Results.Further analysis shows that the causes of the problems are the lack of consensus on the establishment of project performance objectives and the decomposition of indicators,the lack of communication and management,and the lack of guarantee to solve the problems in the process of project performance implementation The project team members’ understanding of the project performance is not consistent,and the way of performance appraisal is not fair The application of project performance results is not comprehensive,performance appraisal and performance management are confused,the concept of performance management has not kept pace with the times.To optimize the project performance management system of X Environmental Protection Company,this paper proposes the following measures: to improve the project performance target system,to strengthen the project performance process management,to optimize the management tools of the evaluation link,to reasonably use the project performance results,etc.,provide project performance management support for the development of other companies in the environmental industry.
