Research On The Application Of XilanKapu Pattern In Clothing And Adornment Design

XilanKapu,or Tujia brocade,as one of the wonders of folk handicrafts and a valuable intangible cultural heritage of the Chinese nation,has strong ethnic characteristics and high artistic value,and its beautiful patterns are a highly artistic manifestation of the historical development,ethnic concepts and spiritual world of the Tujia family.Along with the development of the times,clothing products are becoming more and more important in the fashion trend,and the material,connotation and function of clothing products all reflect the common semantics of designers and consumers,and the design and development of the combination of ethnic culture and fashion clothing products are increasingly favored by consumers and designers.In this paper,the main object of research is to analyze the development history,cultural connotation,pattern composition,color application and other artistic characteristics of Xilankapu pattern,and explore the feasibility of its development and innovation in the field of apparel design.In this paper,we have obtained the basic knowledge and research materials of XilanKapu pattern through literature collation and research.Firstly,it starts from the development history,folk culture background and pattern connotation of XilanKapu,elaborates the aesthetic concept of Tujia family carried in XilanKapu,and based on the collation and analysis of XilanKapu patterns,analyzes the three aspects of subject matter,composition and color to provide theoretical basis for later creation.Secondly,we will analyze the development status and trend in the field of apparel design,explore the fit between the two,combine the existing cases of application of XilanKapu patterns in the field of apparel,summarize the problems and extract useful experience from them,and provide realistic support for the practical session.In the process of practice,we do not adhere to the inherent formula of brocade patterns,but innovatively reconstruct and combine the dismantled and extracted brocade elements with popular materials,styles and other elements in the field of apparel design to obtain relatively ideal results.This paper proposes a concept and design plan to display the XilanKapu pattern in the new era by using apparel as a carrier,exploring the intersection between traditional minority culture and modern fashion,in order to enhance the artistic expression of XilanKapu pattern and give it a new form in the new era,so that it can be combined with modern life and better passed on in the contemporary society and let more people appreciate the artistic beauty of XilanKapu.The beauty of the art.
