There are certain differences in the behaviors of tourists in the habitual(habitual residence)environment and not in the habitual(tourist destination)environment, which leads to different attitudes and different styles of consumption behaviors. In addition, the current global environmental situation is grim, and the issue of carbon emissions is highly concerned. Therefore, the study of environmental responsibility behavior in the binary context is particularly important. However, studies on environmental responsibility behavior in the habitual and non-habitual binary situations are rare.Based on this background, this study takes environmental responsibility behavior as the research object, and deeply discusses the differences between environmental responsibility behaviors caused by different attitudes towards region and environment due to the different physical and mental differences in different environments.Based on the attitude-behavior-scenario theory, the binary situation is introduced, and the influence mechanism model of the tourists are constructed. In this study, the questionnaire survey collected data, mainly used SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0 software to analyze and verify the data, and empirically tested the influence of tourist involvement, psychological distance, local attachment and environmental attitude on environmental responsibility behavior. The study found that:(1)in terms of the influence on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior, the involvement degree of tourists is more significant than the psychological distance, indicating that the behavior performance of tourists in the tourist destination is affected by explicit factors, rather than implicit factors.(2)In the intermediary role, the intermediary effect of environmental attitude(effect ratio: 59% and 70% respectively)will be stronger than the intermediary effect of local attachment(effect ratio: 11% and 15% respectively),indicating that the environmental responsibility behavior of tourists will be more influenced by attitude than by emotional cognition.(3)In the regulatory effect, both local attachment and environmental attitude are influenced by the usual green behavior of tourists, indicating that regional differences have a significant impact on the behavior.Based on the binary behavior theory of this study, this study explores whether tourists have behavioral differences in the binary situation of habitual(daily green behavior)and non-habitual(tourist environmental responsibility behavior). To understand whether the tourists’ attitude and behavior when the distance difference(psychological distance and physical distance)can be consistent by distance.According to the analysis of research data and the proposal of research conclusions,it provides data support for the management of tourism destinations, and puts forward feasible suggestions for the environmental marketing scheme of tourism destinations, and provides strategic ideas for the building of future tourism destinations.
