The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stresses the importance of promoting green development and harmonious coexistence between man and nature.We will actively yet prudently promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,and implement the carbon peaking action step by step in a planned way.Our country is a big building country,construction industry energy consumption,large carbon emissions.At the same time,the construction industry is also one of the key sectors to promote carbon emission reduction,which contains huge carbon emission reduction potential in the production,construction and operation and maintenance of building materials.The development of the construction industry in different provinces is not balanced,and there are differences in economic level,urbanization process and energy structure.As a result,the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the carbon emissions of the construction industry in different regions are bound to be different,and there are huge differences in emission reduction measures between regions.In this context,this paper calculates the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry in our country from the perspective of the life cycle,and studies the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics and agglomeration effect of the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry in provinces and three regions in our country.Taking SBM-Malmqusit global energy efficiency index as an index to measure technological progress,analyzing the influencing factors of carbon emissions in the life cycle of construction industry in provinces and three regions of our country,exploring the representative in the life cycle of construction stage specific path to reduce emissions,revealing the driving mechanism of carbon emission reduction in the construction industry.The research conclusions are as follows :(1)from 2004 to 2018,the total carbon emission in the life cycle of the construction industry in China showed an overall increase trend of "urgent first and then slow" with 2012 as the cut-off point.The carbon emission trend of the three regions is similar to that of the country.The life cycle carbon construction space distribution pattern presents from the east coast to the west the distribution of the gradient decreasing trend.(2)In the life cycle,each province construction carbon exists significant spatial correlation,but showing a decreasing trend year by year.The life cycle of regional construction of carbon emissions is put in bigger difference,showing a situation of two-level differentiation.(3)Total population and urbanization rate are not the main influencing factors of the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry.The growth of per capita GDP will lead to the growth of the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry in China.The improvement of SBM-Malmqusit total factor energy efficiency index has a significant inhibitory effect on the life cycle carbon emissions of the local construction industry,and there is no spatial spillover effect.(4)Different variables have different effects on the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry in the three major regions and provinces with different decimal points.The change of the total population will not significantly affect the life cycle carbon emissions of the construction industry in the three regions.The increase of urbanization rate only significantly inhibits the growth of the life cycle carbon emissions of construction industry in the central region,and per capita GDP has the largest positive driving effect on the eastern region.The emission reduction effect of SBM-Malmqusit global energy efficiency index is different in different regions,and the emission reduction effect of western and central regions is greater than that of eastern regions.The effect of total population on the provinces with more than 0.90 quantile is the most obvious.The effect of urbanization rate in lowquantile provinces is positive,while that in mid-high-quantile provinces is negative.Per capita GDP has the greatest impact on provinces with quantiles between 0.50 and0.90.SBM-Malmqusit has the greatest inhibition on the global energy efficiency of provinces with quantiles below 0.10.(5)The impacts of various factors on carbon emissions of the construction industry at the three stages were different.Population of operation stages just 0.90 digit provinces has a significant negative effect of carbon.The regression coefficient of urbanization rate is negative in the production stage of building materials,and both positive and negative in the construction and operation stage.The global energy efficiency of SBM-Malmqusit has a significant inhibitory effect on the provinces with high quantile in the production stage and construction stage of building materials,and a significant pulling effect on the provinces with low quantile in the operation stage. |
