Improving the level of green land use in urban areas in the Yellow River Basin is of great significance for strengthening ecological protection and achieving high-quality development.With the rapid expansion of population density and urbanization,the low efficiency of land resource utilization has made the conflict between people and land in the Yellow River Basin increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is necessary to take ecological protection and high-quality development strategies as guidance and use means such as technological innovation and intensive and efficient development to improve land utilization efficiency,alleviate the conflict between people and land.Based on the theories of sustainable development,green development,high-quality development,and coordinated development of human and land systems,this paper uses research methods such as literature review,statistical analysis,empirical analysis,and normative analysis to analyze the efficiency of urban land green utilization in the Yellow River Basin and its influencing factors.It provides an effective way to improve the efficiency of urban land green utilization and promote high-quality urban development.Combining the global directional distance function and Meta-frontier Global Malmquist-Luenberger(MGML)model in the data envelopment analysis method,this paper takes 61 cities in the Yellow River Basin as the research objects.Based on the existing research results and the current situation of natural geography,socio-economics,ecological environment,and land use structure in the Yellow River Basin,an evaluation index system for the efficiency of urban land green utilization is constructed.The paper calculates the efficiency of urban land green utilization in each city in the Yellow River Basin from 2008 to 2019 and uses the Tobit regression model to analyze the driving factors and influencing factors of urban land utilization efficiency.It provides a theoretical reference for the improvement of urban land green utilization efficiency in the Yellow River Basin.The study found that:(1)From a geographical perspective,under the common frontier,the ranking of the growth rate of green land use efficiency in cities in the Yellow River Basin is downstream > midstream > upstream.Under the group frontier,the ranking of the growth rate of green land use efficiency in cities in the Yellow River Basin is midstream > downstream > upstream.From a temporal perspective,there is not much difference in the overall green land use efficiency value in the Yellow River Basin.Compared with2008,the overall change in the green efficiency of urban land in the Yellow River Basin has been relatively small,indicating a slow growth rate of green land use efficiency in urban areas in the Yellow River Basin over the12-year period,and a lack of upward momentum overall.(2)The Tobit regression model results show that The level of economic development and industrial structure have a positive impact on the green utilization efficiency of urban land in the Yellow River Basin,but not significantly;Social human capital has a significant positive effect on the efficiency of green land use in cities,while the improvement of investment in science and education has a significant negative impact on it;The degree of environmental regulation has a significant positive impact on the green utilization efficiency of urban land in the Yellow River Basin;Both urban land structure and urban greening level have a negative effect on the green utilization efficiency of urban land,but neither is significant.(3)Based on the analysis of the current situation of urban land use in the Yellow River Basin,the calculation of utilization efficiency,and the study of its influencing factors,this article summarizes specific paths that can comprehensively improve the green utilization efficiency of urban land in the Yellow River Basin from four aspects.Firstly,optimize the industrial structure and promote green transformation of the industry;Secondly,accelerate the development of urbanization and improve the level of urban technological innovation;Once again,protect the ecological environment and enhance energy conservation and emission reduction governance capabilities;Finally,scientifically plan land and adjust the urban land use structure.
