With the development of livestock and poultry farming from small family farms to intensive and large-scale development, the shallow groundwater quality in livestock and poultry farming sites will be affected to varying degrees.Shallow groundwater is not only an important supply source for agricultural irrigation, production and living in suburban and rural areas, but also a source of infiltration and recharge water for medium and deep groundwater. The rational development and utilization of groundwater resources is of great significance. In this paper, poultry farms and livestock farms in Suzhou,Anhui Province were used as the research objects.,three-dimensional fluorescence spectrophotometry, with the help of Piper map,Gibbs map,ion correlation heat map, hydrogen and oxygen stable isotopes, parallel factor analysis(EEMs-PARAFAC),SAR index,Wilcox map and other technical means, around shallow groundwater hydrochemical characteristics,The characteristics and sources of dissolved organic matter(DOM)components, and the evaluation of drinking and irrigation water quality were discussed. The main results obtained are as follows:(1)The changes of anion and cation contents in shallow groundwater in the influence area of poultry farms during the rainy season and livestock farms during the rainy and dry seasons were consistent. The shallow groundwater anions in the dry season of the poultry farm gradually undergo a shift from Cl-dominance to SO42-dominance.The shallow groundwater in the study area was mainly controlled by silicate weathering, and influenced by ion exchange and evaporation concentration.Parameter correlations indicate that ion water chemistry in shallow groundwater of livestock and poultry farms during the wet and dry seasons was mainly controlled by mineral dissolution and anthropogenic activities;and the former water quality was more obviously influenced by anthropogenic activities, such as the discharge of farm wastewater.(2)Based on the results of the parallel factor method to resolve the dissolved organic matter(DOM)in shallow groundwater of livestock and poultry farms, the shallow groundwater quality of livestock farms was more significantly controlled by the factors of farming operation activities in the rainy and dry seasons than that of poultry farms. The DOM components of poultry and livestock breeding sites were mainly from the metabolism of water microorganisms, followed by the common function of land-based and water microbial metabolism.(3)Single factor index method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and irrigation water quality evaluation are used to evaluate the drinking and irrigation water quality of shallow groundwater in the affected area of livestock and poultry breeding site. The water quality of poultry and animal husbandry farms in rainy and dry seasons is good, and the water quality of the two sites is suitable for irrigation under the conditions of good soil drainage and high salt tolerance of plants. While the water quality is not suitable for drinking in terms of the DOM components and tri-nitrogen concentration levels. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method shows that the quality of shallow groundwater around the poultry farm is better than that of the livestock farm.(4)NH4-N and NO2-N are the main nitrogen forms exceeding the standard in poultry breeding sites in rainy season; The tri-nitrogen in dry season did not exceed the standard.NH4-N,NO3-N and NO2-N are the nitrogen forms exceeding the standard in livestock breeding sites; The dry season is NH4-N.According to the spatial distribution characteristics of the tri-nitrogen in the livestock and poultry farms, the main pollution sources of the tri-nitrogen in the rainy and dry seasons of the poultry farms are breeding operations and agricultural pollution; The tri-nitrogen pollution sources of livestock breeding sites are mainly farming operations sources.Figure[30]Table[15]Reference[88]...
