Character graphics is a form of language expression generated in the development of human society.Chinese characters are an important carrier of inheriting traditional Chinese culture and an important part of Chinese culture.Liquor is a kind of traditional wine in China,which is regarded as one of the important representatives of Chinese culture.It has a long history and cultural background.With the improvement of consumers’ demand for liquor quality and cultural connotation,liquor packaging design should pay more attention to culture and art.In contemporary wine packaging design,it is easy to ignore the importance of text in packaging information expression.Therefore,we should make full use of the advantages of text graphics and apply them to liquor packaging design to create more cultural connotation and artistic sense of packaging design works.This study focuses on the application of text graphics in liquor packaging,focusing on two aspects: product image design and information transmission.Firstly,through literature research,related concepts of text graphics were sorted out,and the feasibility of the application of text graphics in liquor packaging was confirmed.Secondly,through the method of case analysis,this paper explores the expression form of text graphics in the packaging design of domestic and foreign famous brands of liquor in recent decades,summarizes the existing problems in the current packaging,and puts forward the application strategy and solution of text graphics in liquor packaging.Finally,the paper analyzes the visual expression in today’s society and the aesthetic preference of consumers by means of questionnaires,and combines the results of questionnaires to carry out design ideas.From the aspects of font,graphics,color and composition,it explores the visual expression of graphic characters and the extension of semantics.Through the above study,it is concluded that the application of text graphics in liquor packaging has important value and significance.Based on the theoretical study and practical case analysis of the existing text graphics in liquor packaging,the design practice is realized through text graphics,which further proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of text graphics in liquor packaging.At the same time,it also looks forward to the future Chinese liquor packaging in terms of creating brand cultural atmosphere,conveying product connotation and other aspects,from which the academic and practical significance of this study for Chinese characters in cultural inheritance and brand image expression is obtained,hoping to provide some inspiration for the aesthetic situation of liquor packaging design and brand culture context in Chinese liquor market.
